Overview
Featuring spectacular views over Lake Jindabyne and the mountains, Troldhaugen Lodge - Adults Only offers boutique, European-style accommodation comprising modern rooms with stylish bathrooms and elegant lounge areas. The property features two shared lounge areas, one with a log fireplace and a selection of books, magazines and board games and the other lounge area with a chess set and TV with DVD player. All guest rooms at Troldhaugen Lodge - Adults Only are fully carpeted with central heating, a 40 inch Smart TV and free WiFi. Each has an en suite bathroom, and all linen, towels and toiletries are provided. A selection of teas and coffees are available from reception from 09:00 to 21:00. There are guest fridges, a sandwich toaster, microwave, cutlery, crockery and glassware available for guests’ use at all times. Complimentary buffet breakfast is served from 06:30 to 08:30 daily in the dining room and includes award winning Three Mills Bakery breads, a range of cereals, house-made muesli and barista-made coffee. Other facilities at the lodge include a games room with a billiards table and retro console game, a drying room, and free on-site parking. Troldhaugen Lodge - Adults Only focuses on sustainability and includes a large PV solar system, an energy efficient heat-exhange heating and hot water system. All food waste is composted and you will find no single use or single serve items at the lodge. The refurbished bathrooms all have low flow taps and dual flush toilets and the lighting, fridges and washing machines are energy efficient. The building has been heavily insulated and the carpet is 100% undyed wool. Troldhaugen Lodge - Adults Only is a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants of Jindabyne. It is a 35-minute drive from Cooma Snowy Mountains Airport and a 25-minute drive from Coolamatong Country Sports Club. The ski resorts of Perisher and Thredbo are both 38 km away.

This lodge is a small operation by the owers managed everything themselves. Even had an espresso machine for coffee. Breakfast (included) was simple but top quality, as was the whole operation. Highly recommend.

“A very pleasant lodge stay in central Jindy with great views and excellent hosts”
The lodge is a great base for exploring Jindy and region as well as interacting with fellow guests. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Located in a quiet street and maybe a fifteen minute walk down/up hill from the main town area.

Claire and David were excellent hosts! The room was comfortable and there were plenty of additional break out areas in the lodge to relax in. This was our first time staying in a lodge and I have to say the communal breakfast was great! Really enjoyed chatting to the other guests in the morning. The views of the lake from our room, breakfast area and the breakfast out spaces was amazing. Lodge is close to everything you need and is walkable. Absolutely loved this accommodation and will be back. Highly recommended!

We loved our 3 nights at Troldhaugen Lodge. Our hosts (Clair and David) were really welcoming and friendly and full of great ideas and information. Our room was serviced each day. Breakfast was convivial and healthy with as much variety one needs for a breakfast. We had great conversations with them and would certainly recommend this great accommodation to anyone looking for an adult only escape.

The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and warm. Beautiful views of the lake. My room was cosy, good hot water and shower head. Breakfast was generous, fresh, healthy, well made real coffee. The hosts are a lovely and attentive couple who make you feel very welcome and relaxed.

Very comfortable facilities, room was furnished beautifully, comfortable beds and great shower. Hosts Claire and David were very accommodating, provided a nice breakfast. Motel is placed conveniently looking over Jindabyne Lake, beautiful views and very peaceful.
