“Nice hotel”

The location is beautiful. Friendly helpful staff. We were the only ones at dinner as the hotel was so quiet which we felt a bit guilty about. One waiter and cook to ourselves. The staff were very friendly.

“My go-to place to stay in Jerte”

Not my first stay here. I like the location at the end of town (quiet), the building, the restaurant and the swimming pool.

“A fine Extremadura hotel in a fine mountain environment”

The staff were without exception relaxed, attentive and very professional. This matches what we have seen in other Hospederías in Extremadura - the training really is excellent. Breakfast was a classic Spanish buffet and more than adequate. We also had lunch there one day, nicely prepared and good value. (In late May there are VERY few options for eating in Jerte itself). The dining area is wonderful - very large, with much glass so that you feel you are almost outside. The bed was large and excellent and our top floor room had charm. No question that we'd stay here again if travelling via Jerte.

Good location for walking. Good value especially half board. Meals were good. We were there in October and there wasn't really anywhere else to eat nearby. Staff were really helpful. Good breakfast.

This hotel looks like it's made for large groups (schools, the elderly, a business group, ...) but it's quite fancy for that. The room and bathroom are nice, but not too big. Are we the only couple that travel with 2 suitcases? Where to put the second one? (Although that doesn't apply to this hotel alone, but to almost all the others we visited and reviewed as well) 😅 The hotel has a non-heated outdoor swimming pool and there is on-site parking available for your (rental) car. There is a decent breakfast buffet. Like with many other places to stay and eat in Spain, vegetarians and vegans will find something to eat (jam, tomatoes on toast), but it's not heaven. The restaurant also serves a good dinner, although with very limited choices, again, for vegetarians. But they do their best to adapt meals when asked to. It is a great starting point for those who like to go hiking in the surrounding hills. Be sure to visit the small tourist information office, just outside the hotel. They have several maps and other info available for your hikes.

Good sized room, lovely location next to bubbling river. Pleasant lounge, bar and dining, all well air-conditioned. Lovely infinity pool right next to the river. (Unfortunately it was out of action for one of the two days we were there). The 18 euros 3 course meal with drink was good value and good quality, although limited vegetarian choices meant one of us had to choose another starter as the main. There was limited free parking at the hotel which we welcomed.

Nice location, close to the river. Very spacious room with comfortable king size bed. Very good buffet breakfast. We had a lunch in the hotel restaurant, happy with the experience. Enough space to park in the street, EV recharge point available.
