Beautiful view, friendly and accomodating staff. Room and terrace were very nice with close up to the storks who nested near the terrace.

“Terrible host experience”

It is very unfortunate that the fireplace was not made available to us. Availability of the fireplace was clearly stated in the room description, and we selected the accommodation counting on that description. As it turns out, it was misleading. On arrival, we noticed that there was no wood for the fireplace, and kindly asked the host over WhatsApp how we could get it to wowk we received a voice message back, claiming that the client was expected to give advance warning if the fireplace was needed. This was nowhere made explicit before, during or after the reservation. The host excused herself but made no offer whatsoever to make the fireplace ready for our second day in the room. The following morning, we duly asked the maid and another worker, who were both very kind and polite, if we could lit the fireplace. There was no objection, on the contrary. We were in fact offered some wood, which was brought into our room. Later on, the maid came back stating that she had been ordered to collect it, on the justification that the fireplace was actually broken and could not be used. Nowhere during these exchanges did we hear from from the host herself. We found this appalling and extremely unprofessional. Another note, several of the fruit inside the social kitchen refrigerator were off, with mould showing, and clearly had remained there for days unchecked.

My kids and I absolutely loved this posada. The room was spacious and very well equipped. Terrific bathroom and veranda overlooking the pool. Staff were great, resolving a few small problems promptly and efficiently. The location is terrific, with views of the roofscape of Jerez, especially its very interesting churches.

A great place to stay, exactly where you want to be in Town, merely yards from the Plaza de España, the heartbeat of Jerez de los Caballeros. Really friendly helpful staff, easy check-in & out procedure, satisfactory breakfasts also available too. Even a Pool if required, with great sunbeds in place. We will definitely return one day, thank you to all there!
