“Where your bed floats on the sea”
I first stayed at Nomad Hotel Xábia Port in 2024 and found it to be a tranquil, beautifully appointed hotel with a fabulous vibe. Staying in a room on the 4th floor with doors open very early in the morning is absolute heaven. Sot on the balcony sipping your coffee or sunbathe on the bed.😁. I love the corridors and stairs with beautiful uplighting and amazing scents which you will find in every nook and cranny of the hotel. I loved the entry area and bar which is really relaxing with comfortable seating and has a fire (great in winter). Also adore the music which reminded me of The White Lotus series. Every day on our first trip in 2024 we returned to the hotel for their amazing Potatoes Bravas we loved them so much. On our Jan 2026 trip we found the same dish totally changed and wouldn't order again. Such a shame they didn't pass down the original recipe!!! However we tried dinner twice on this trip and their Veg Callaloni was superb and my partner had a very good pork dish. Staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. Irene went out of her way to make our stay very special. My thanks also to Allessia who assigned us a hreat room. I love this hotel, it is am oasis of calm and one of my favorite spots. I believe the wife of the original couple that owned Nomad designed the hotel and in my opinion she is greatly talented.for imagining such a beautiful, yet simple. concept. I would love to return again but fear the new hotels mave have proven a destraction from keeping an eye on quality. I hope that I will be proven wrong.
