The historical place is beautiful. We stayed in a large apartment that accommodated our family well. Nice terrasse. All the amenities necessary for a short and long-stay are available.

The view from our Balcony and the balcony itself was great. I sat out there and read a lot! The upstairs "living space" area with sofa, table and kitchenette was spacy.

Lousiest accommodation ever! Overall, the accommodation makes a very run-down impression, defective floors, defective and worn carpets, crooked hanging pictures on the walls. It is obvious that nothing has been invested here for many years. The lead with the Château is really just a lead, the apartments are in dingy old apartment complexes. If these were all just little things, I would overlook it, but the overall picture is just bad. Unfortunately, this bad impression continues in the appartment. Mini bedrooms with mini double beds, dirty patio table, overall a very dirty patio, broken and rusty clothes horse, springs sticking out of the sofa cover!!! Complaints are blithely ignored by the management! Unfortunately, we have not taken any pictures, but who wants to make himself a picture is welcome to check in! I myself can only warn.

There had been a mix up with our room booking, so when we first arrived we were in an attic room in The Castle, which was very small for a week long stay in the summer! The next morning, I went down to reception to talk to them about this and they were really accommodating, friendly and helpful, the lady on the desk found us a new room and it was absolutely perfect. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Both rooms were super clean and well equipped, but the new room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful French Alps, which was much better for enjoying the gorgeous weather in Southern France. The swimming pool and spa area were also perfect for chilling out after a day of bike riding. We were also really tired one evening after a day on the bikes, so we ordered pizza from reception, which was delicious and great for a night when we just wanted to chill out and stay in. Will be recommending Château des Magnans to all our friends!

Location, appartment was big and comfortable with nice view, very clean. Kitchen well equipped with technics. Castle is fantastic! Parking big and free of charge.
