Overview
Located in Jausiers, Chalet les Moineaux offers a panoramic terrace with a mountain view, a sauna and a fitness room. You can also enjoy an outdoor, heated swimming pool, a children’s playground with swings and a garden. With a view of the surrounding hills, all of the rooms at Chalet les Moineaux feature wooden furniture and a parquet floor. Each heated room is fitted with a desk, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower. A breakfast with orange juice, pastries and jams is served daily, with an extra cost. Dinners with traditional dishes from the region are available, upon prior reservation. There is a restaurant 500 metres from the property and a supermarket is 8 km away. Other facilities include a tennis table, a football table and ski storage. Chalet les Moineaux is also equipped with free Wi-Fi. As a resident, we took the offer of an evening meal which was excellent and offered great value including wine. The starter, main and dessert were of great quality. The restaurant decor was also first class in stark contrast to the bedroom.

“Nice for a Stopover”
The house is easy to find, and the parking lot is level and quite large. The welcome from the owner was warm and hospitable. The property is beautiful with a great view (although we couldn't use the garden or pool due to the weather). The room was small but perfectly adequate, the beds were comfortable, and the shower worked well. Thank you for providing coffee and tea! The restaurant is exquisite; we enjoyed the food and wine excellently!

“Best day/night of my week bike trip.”
Everything! The first thing that you see is the view which is stunning from its perched location. The owner/chef Philippe is a real character and a gentleman. He cooked for 13 of us and dined with us. It was a memorable evening with great food and wine. He even did a musical performance for us at the end which was brilliant! Everyone agreed it was a great night. Loved it!

Great facilities and location. Perfect spot for the climb of the Bonette. Great bike storage (though the door didn’t securely shut. ) lovely friendly host in a Basil Fawlty kind of way..! 🤣

Fantastic owners gave us an excellent stay we never will forget! A great dinner, live music and good conversations. The owners ate dinner together with us and they really cared about their guests. Best ever!

“Great little authentic chalet hotel”
A great little hotel slightly away from the centre of Jausiers. Great views and the pool was just what I needed after a long drive. It is located close to mountain pass which is absolutely breathtaking at sunset. The gentleman checking me in was super nice, thank you! I didn't opt for dinner/breakfast so cannot comment. Parking was good and I wasn't worried about leaving the car outside. Great value for money.
