“Super friendly staff and exceptionally clean facilities”
There were only a few other guests when I stayed here, but the common kitchen is big and could easily accomodate a lot of people. It's quite close to big roads, and I was worried that road noise might be a problem, but luckily I was wrong. It's very peaceful and quiet. This was a perfect location on my bicycle trip to Stockholm.

This is a great place, exceptionally clean. It has everything you need, the rooms are cosy, the kitchen is big and nice, landlady is so kind and personal. I felt like at home. The nature nearby is also great. Highly recommend this place.

As a travel-weary 75+ in a foreign country, I received the warmest welcome imaginable. Yildiz went out of her way to make me feel at home and comfortable. The accommodation was so clean and bright, and Yildiz made me a superb evening meal and breakfast next day.All my thanks to her, she is quite rightly proud of her establishment. If I get the chance to go to Sweden again, I shall head straight for Håknäs Vandrarhem.

Fabulous place to stay if you are passing by or staying for longer in the area. If you are tired of overpriced chain hotels this reminds you how wonderful places can be. Excellent hospitality from the owner who could not have been more helpful throughout. I will return very soon

Very nice place, friendly and helpful staff. I was staying for one night after five days of hiking in the woods and I would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.

“Extremely friendly place in a very nice surroundings.”
We made an overnight stop at Håknäs Vandrarhem on our way to Stockholm. Owners of the place were very welcoming and friendly. They don't provide breakfast at the premises (you can make it for your self in well equipped kitchen) but they shared Easter delights (some pastry and baklavas) with us in the morning of our departure.
