I couldn't tear myself away from this delightful spot. Host Viviana is welcoming and thoughtful. The abundant bird life around the house was transfixing. Kitchen, private patio space, and washing machine provided comfort and convenience. Proximity to el centro was just right--the Bird House is an easy walk to the plaza, but at the edge of town, almost in the coutryside. Good hikes and birdwatching opportunities right out the door.

“Super apartment on the edge of Jardin”

Everything! The location: quiet, birds, produce from the garden, easy walk into town and to walking trails. The hosts: incredibly helpful and friendly. A comfortable small apartment with everything needed to cook yourself, washing machine, outside space. Great!

Vivi and her husband were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment has everything you need and is close to the main square. We’ve felt very at home while staying here and would love to come back at some point.

The little flat is well maintained and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the bird visitors. It is well located in a quiet corner of the town. The hosts who live in the flat upstairs were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Excellent stay, homely, cosy, clean with lots of utensils etc available in the kitchen area. Very comfortable bed, hot shower and lovely outdoor area. I felt very welcomed and check in was very easy. A wonderful base to explore Jardin! 100% recommend.

Loved our stay here. Vivienne was so kind and helpful! It is in a great location, central but quiet. It was really clean, and had all the facilities that you need.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighbourhood. The modest studio apartment was clean, comfortable and provided most of our desired amenities (scissors would have been welcome). We appreciated the functional kitchen, the patio and greatly enjoyed the variety of birds in the backyard garden.

Great and peaceful location. Just a few minutes walk from the center. Everything was clean. Room is spacious. Bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything needed. Would highly recommend this place.

The terrace where you can have your breakfast looking at all the beautiful birds flying around. The owner is super nice and help whenever you have a problem or concern. Very clean.

- The garden and bird feeders were amazing. - Well stocked kitchen for cooking. - Really close to sendero for walking. - Close to town but just on the outskirts. - Hot water. - Washing machine was great for travellers like us! - Excellent value for money - Owners were really lovely and kind. They gave us fresh fruit and herbs from the garden.

“A Hidden Gem!”

I cannot recommend this place enough. We enjoyed this apartment so much we extended our 2 night stay to 4 nights. The photos don't do it justice - this apartment is modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It's the perfect base to rest & relax and take a break from hostel life. There is a smart TV with Netflix. We were able to do laundry as there is a machine & washing powder free to use & a sheltered drying area. We also cooked breakfast here each morning, dined al fresco while watching the birds visit and enjoyed delicious local coffee kindly supplied by the owner. Juan Carlos is a super host! Although he doesn't speak any English he was more than able to tend to all our needs / requests and he even picked some oranges from his garden for us to make freshly squeezed orange juice! Honestly, the most comfortable and relaxing stay.This place is a hidden gem and excellent value. I would definitely book again.
