“A piece of paradise”

The hotel has the best view of Jardin without being too far from the village. The host is absolutely great. Felt at home. The environment is so quiet and beautiful, a piece of paradise to relax and to be in contact with nature.

Beautiful garden and views, easily the best breakfast we’ve had on all our travels and so refreshing to have genuinely good coffee to accompany it! The house is really close to lots of nice cafes and you can get the cable car down to the village if you don’t want to walk.

“Perfect spot to stay while visiting Jardin”

Lina was extremely welcoming and helpful with everything we asked. We appreciated her recommendation and booking us for a horse riding tour which was excellent. The location is wonderful and breakfast is delicious.

A truly wonderful place. No more than 10 minutes in a Tuktuk from the centre. Lina and her husband were very friendly and helpful, giving me a lift to the bus station when I needed to change my time of departure. Great views from the house, super tranquil, plenty of birds in and over the garden. A relatively short and beautiful walk to the oilbird reserve. I strongly recommend a visit.

We had a wonderful stay. It was peaceful and surrounded by nature, which made it a perfect place to relax and watch birds. The owner was very kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. We definitely recommend this place.

“Amazing stay in Jardin (best accommodation of our Colombia trip so far!)”

Lina was a very welcoming and helpful host who helped us arrange tours and transport whenever we needed, beautiful location with amazing views over Jardin, waking up to tropical birds feeding right in front of your room was amazing, very comfortable bed, great breakfast included. The accommodation is only a short walk, cable car or mototaxi from town (16,000 COP one way) and it's well worth it.

“Perched above Jardin, a great base to explore from”

Such a lovely place to stay and to use as a base to explore Jardin and surrounds. I had a car so was easy for me. On foot La Garrucha (cable car, well that’s kind of a polite name for it, more a box on cables which has to be experienced). is an easy 5 minute walk away. Other staying did plenty of walking so is doable. The room was comfy and the views stunning. Relax in the afternoon in a hammock as you watch the humming birds. Breakfast was different every day and delicious. With fresh eggs and local fruit and of course coffee.

“Beautiful, peaceful, perfect place to stay in lovely Jardin”

Beautiful location, a walkable distance away from the centre of Jardin but there’s also the cable car or tuktuks to get you up the hill. Lena was so kind and helpful during our stay. The breakfasts were delicious and different every day. We spent hours just looking out over the stunning view watching the weather move across the valley as well as all the different birds that were around. We were allowed to use the kitchen whenever we wanted, Lena and her husband also helped trying to book group tours and gave advice on timings for everything.

“Pure nature and tranquility”

Very calm and beautiful place about 25min outside of Jardin. Located in a wonderful garden with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and hills. Pure nature and tranquility. Amazing breakfast and really nice hosts.

Lina and Camilo were the best hosts, so kind and generous. Their home is beautiful, colourful and welcoming, and I had an amazing time staying with them. So peaceful and comfortable <3 and delicious breakfast !

“Soulful experience, priceless!”

Our stay at Jardín Consentido was nothing short of priceless. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and genuine care of our lovely hosts, Lina and Cami. The place has such a soulful and peaceful energy, surrounded by breathtaking views that make you slow down and truly take it all in. The fresh, local, and incredibly tasty breakfast was also one of the highlights of our mornings, prepared with so much care. Every corner of the property reflects their heart and vision, from the cozy spaces to the flower filled gardens and birds chirping away. We left feeling recharged, grateful, and deeply touched by the kindness and hospitality we experienced. We’ll definitely be following their journey and cheering them on from afar. Highly recommended, a truly special place that feeds the soul.

Such a relaxing stay - the property is beautiful, amazing bird life, so many nice spots to sit and enjoy the view and most wonderful breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed two nights at this lovely place and would have loved to stay longer. It's very quiet and peaceful, being a bit out of the city is worth it if you like nature (we were given a detailed description of how to get there by Jardin in advance, including the adventurous journey by garrucha). The rooms are clean and there is a lovely terrace to stay on. Lina and Camillo are great hosts, the breakfast was very delicious and we got lots of tips for hiking trails and restaurants. We can highly recommend this place.
