Overview
Just 2 minutes’ walk from Jämsä Station, this refurbished 1950s inn offers en-suite accommodation, a café and a gift shop. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and sauna access and free parking. All of Jämsän Gasthaus’s guest rooms have a TV, and some include a fully equipped kitchen. In summer, Gasthaus Jämsän’s terrace is a nice place to relax in the sun. Leisure options include table tennis and billiards, and bicycles can be rented on site. Barbecue, laundry and ironing facilities are also available. Jämsä Harbour and Bus Station are 1 km from the inn, and shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes’ walk away. The popular Himos Ski Centre is about 10 minutes’ drive.

“Easy place to stay for a night but not worth the price.”
Easy to check in. Rooms were fine and the beds were quite comfy. Location was fantastic as well as the parking situation. Room temperature was also quite nice.

The place was old fashioned but I liked it. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was self-service and it had everything we needed.

“Hidden gem.”
Brilliant for a lay over, very clean room. Shops within walking distance. Even a towel was provided, just remember to bring your own toilet paper. Situated close to Jämsäs river for wonderful late evening walks. Smoking area provided.

“Good value for money”
- small kitchen, we make our own dinner & breakfast. - very good location, right next to train station, super market, 10min. driving to Himos skiing resort. - nicely decorated interior, nostalgic atmosphere. - good cleanliness - free parking

“4days of stay, safe, clean, not the comfiest, but nice enough”
Clean, safe, by the railway station. Small kitchen, good enough equipped. Clean spaces. I loved it, that i had a minifridge in my room, and also a sink was nice addition. Cheapest of the options available in Jämsä, but unfortunately still to my liking not comfy enough for the money that I had to pay.
