We had a truly wonderful stay at New Teddy’s on the Beach. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their kindness, friendliness, and willingness to assist at any time. The property was exactly as pictured — beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and very secure. The food was excellent, especially the delicious local dishes, and the relaxing spa treatments added an extra special touch to our stay. We especially appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the overall sense of calm throughout the property. A beautiful place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

Right on the beach - lots of space - different spaces to relax & enjoy. Clean & well managed. Staff all super friendly & go out of their way to help. Yummy food… everything you could want really. And there’s a fab gift shop too!

We spent nine days at Teddy's. We absolutely loved everything about this place. It's cosy, it's casual with a 'friends and family' atmosphere. If like us, you don't like big hotels and touristic places, and prefer the atmosphere over luxuries, you should check this place. We highly recommend the BBQ dinner. The food is delicious and the setting amazing. We thought that nine days would be too long for such a small village like Jambiani, but we were wrong.

My stay at New Teddy’s in Jambiani was truly perfect. Everything exceeded my expectations – from the welcoming atmosphere and the amazing staff to the wonderful people I met in the dorm. The team is incredibly kind and always smiling. Special thanks to Kelvin and Yasir, who are wonderful people and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right on the beach – one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. I also visited Paje while I was there, but honestly I liked Jambiani much more. It felt more authentic, peaceful, and special. I also highly recommend the excursions organized by the hostel. Everything was very well arranged and it was a great way to explore the island. I would absolutely stay here again and warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. 🤍🤍

Incredible location on the beach, stunning design and beautiful people so welcoming and professional. It was an absolute highlight in the trip and I’ve stayed in many different places around the island. The place is really well run with a brilliant range of trips too.

Relaxed atmosphere, natural setting, well laid out accommodation and facilities. On site restaurant served quality food and drink options.

A really cozy and peaceful place. The pool is large with plenty of sun loungers. It’s right on the beach, so you can swim in the sea as well as in the pool. The breakfast was good. A plus was that you could refill your water bottle from the tank. Evening entertainment several nights was a nice addition. Wifi was good in restaurant and pool area.

The pool, the bar and the location. There were also many places to sit and hang out. They also held a bbq night with live music. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything.
