“Wonderful Villa in Jambiani, the best location of the authentic Zanzibar.”

Raphael Is a great host. We landed in the middle of the night but he sent a driver to pick us at the Airport with a welcome kit of fruits, food and fresh water. The villa is very nice and fully equipped, the pool and the patio are the gems we enjoied in the evening after kite, beachlife and excursion. Jambiani is the most authentic place in Zanzibar. Easy simple life, happy people. You will love it and also the places you can visit from Jambiani are amazing. The best host Is the one who is able to care about his guests and solve unpredictable issue which may happens. Raphael is one of the best host I ever met. We had a small problem with wifi, he solved it immediately. Thanks Raphael and Issa. Strongly recomended.

The Host was amazing!!! So accommodating, flexible, responsive with free transfers!! Fab house/pool. Beach is Super close. Couldn’t recommend more!

Absolutely loved everything about this property. The location was perfect and it was super clean. Situated in a village, the locals were friendly and we felt very safe. The pool was kept clean every day and it was completely private. Raphael was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Although he wasn't there in person, he was always available on the phone to deal with any queries that we had. He also arranged some cash for me as there wasn't an ATM nearby. We did our own cooking for one meal, and needed coriander which wasn't available at the local shops. Raphael instantly arranged some to be delivered to me. The caretaker Issa lived at nearby with his wife and baby. Although he didn't speak English, we managed to converse via Google translate. He was very lovely and always readily available for any errands that we needed. Raphael arranged a driver to pick us up free of charge from Matemwe. He also allowed us to have a late check out as we wanted to observe the Friday prayers which was a little bit later in the afternoon after scheduled check out time. I would definately recommend this villa to anyone wanting to experience privacy, central location, friendly neighbourhood, and a good beach

“A haven in Jambiani”

The swimming pool was fabulous, and the facilities were amazing - better than you could imagine or expect. The owner, Raphael, was exceptional at keeping in touch and responding to questions. The housekeeper, Issa, was so helpful and the taxi driver, Juma, (shuttle) couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. We felt a part of a family!

It was beautiful. We had everything we needed there and we were very comfortable. There are nice showers, mosquito nets, comfortable couches, wonderful pool and enough equipment in kitchen to make food. We were close to the beach, 2 min. It was lovely and the water was warm. When we arrived we we driven to the villa and offered fruits, water, coffee, eggs, avocado, bread etc. The staff was also kind and professional.

For those who likes short reviews: STOP LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PLACE! You won’t regret this decision! This is a perfect villa for family vacation or vacation with friends. My parents and I spent 3 weeks in Zanzibar. We were extremely lucky to choose this place to stay! We loved everything: the beautiful stylish villa, its owner Raphael who gave us endless support and care, Juma and Issa who work with Raphael, the location that is just steps away from the beach, restaurants and local little shops with water and fruits, our friendly neighbors in the village and Maasai warriors on the beach. We will come back! THE VILLA Comfortable and really beautiful, decorated with great taste. The photos do not make a justice - we were awed! There is a patio with comfy furniture that we constantly used. The house is spacious, airy and bright. It has everything you possibly need – good AC in every room, high ceilings and big windows, well separated rooms means that guests do not bother each other, kitchen with everything for cooking, awesome living room perfect for gatherings and board games. There is even a little work table. Bathrooms are huge w/ fast water heaters and quality new washer, iron and drying racks. All the beds are very comfy and equipped with mosquito nets RAHPAEL's TEAM In a nutshell: we were covered and had zero problems. Raphael is awesome and has big heart! He is adventurous, knowledgeable, truly hospitable, kind, honest. He was always available online to answer all questions big and small and helped us out in many situations which is so important for a foreigner without Swahili. Issa, the young house keeper, leaves next to the villa and invisible, but appears magically and solves everything in house in a heartbeat. Juma drove us around multiple times and organized a great tour in Stone Town and Jozani. He is awesome driver and storyteller! Ask him about history, local spices and remedies
