“Perfect place for birders”
The location is nice to explore the Varangerfjord area. Room is very nice and clean. Beds are very good. Breakfast is delicious. Staff is very friendly and gave us a good advice to find special birds, like Hawk Owl. Recommended.

One of the best places we ever visited. Our apartment was lovely and had everything you need during your stay. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious.

The owners, Siren and Jan-Eilif are truly devoted to Varangertunet bed & breakfast. We felt, we were most welcome. Siren gave good tips concerning our stay on this side of Varangerfjord. It was a pity, we had no chance to stay longer. They both have finnish roots and seem to be proud of it. We learned to know a piece of interesting history of Vadsö and surroundings. The food was delicious too, the creamy salmon soup in the evening, and breakfast in the morning. Not to mention the oat porridge, made by Jan-Eilif! We wish them all the best with Varangertunet.

“Lovely place to stay.”
Very friendly and kind host. Rooms were new, clean and cozy, with comfortable beds. Exellent food, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. We loved this place very much and would highly recommed it for anyone who travels in that area. Hope to come back one day.

I had a very comfort and relaxed time for a four nights stay during the New year’s time. The owner couple was very friendly and most helpful with all the tips what to do and where to go in the village. Delicious breakfast! Very good skiing tracks with a spectacular view to the valley and to the sea! I will definitely come again!

Breakfast was excellent, also dinner which was served when asked beforehand. Room was really clean and bed was good to sleep. Also the dog liked it there.

“Excellent small family hotel with excellent service”
The owner couple was wonderful. They really made us feel like home and that We were welcome. We got plenty of good advice were to go and what to see and good stories too. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Nice, clean room with really good beds. Nice view from our room to the Varanger fjord.
