“Exceed out expectations just perfect in every way.”

It was beautifully clean with hot showers and really comfortable bed. The food was freshly cooked and delicious.Padnam and his staff were so friendly and attentive to all our needs. The rooftop restaurant was a delightful space to relax and enjoy the view of the fort. The wanderlust desert safari was exceptional. It was non touristy and authentic with and the camel ride was such fun. Our evening meal was cooked on the campfire by Nabu and was rice, Dahl, vegetables, chapatti with vegetable pakora to start. Delicious. We slept under the stars on comfy cots with clean bedding and plenty of warm blankets. It was a magical experience. Dawn and the bird song was wonderful and breakfast on chai, fruit biscuits and toast was perfect. A shorter camel riding in the morning followed by travelling back through the desert to jaisalmer.

“Great host in beautiful city”

The Wanderlust Guest House is very well located and comfortable. But the best part of it is the host Padam. He will do everything to make your stay great. Make sure to do a Safari with him, everything was very well organised. A night in a desert camp is a beautiful experience.

Padam was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location - within walking distance to all the sites. I highly recommend the desert safari. Also great food served all day. Comfortable room. I would come back.

“Perfect stay - thank you Padam & team!”

Hands down the best place we have stayed in India so far (and probably one of the best ever!). Everything was perfect! The room was great, didn’t even need AC as it stayed nice and cool. Staff really friendly, hospitable and welcoming. Food was delicious and the camel safari was our best experience in India so far. The value for money is insane! You will not be disappointed if you stay here :)

Comfortable and clean guest house in a good location, walking distance from the fort, havelis and lake. The wifi worked well during my entire stay and it was nice to have meals on the cozy rooftop terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the camel safari!

Nice and clean property, we had booked their larger room, which was sufficient for 3 people. Most importantly, owner Mr Padam is a nice and helpful person - he arranged pick up and drop for us from Railway station. He was also knowledgeable about the local attractions. we also booked our desert camp through him and the camp he booked was very good . His team was also very service oriented and helpful in nature . the price for room is very reasonable . overall great experience with wanderlust Location of property is also good , it is approx 1 Km from the Jaisalmer fort , easily walkable distance and is located in good area which is not crowded.

We had a wonderful stay at wanderlust guest house. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Delicious food all home cooked on the roof top. Beautiful views. We could stay as long as we liked on check out day and nothing was a problem.

“Relaxing place with stunning view”

Beautiful place in a strategic location, close to the fort but out of the crowds. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant and the rooftop offer a stunning view on the fort (and sunset) and a perfect place for taking relax. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Highly recommended

“Exceeded Expectations”

Secure, safe and well located hotel within walking distance of the fort. Excellent WiFi, clean rooms and friendly staff. Airport pick up / drop off offered and it was well organised, secure and safe. Excellent roof top cafe / restaurant with good prices and tasty food, with a beautiful view of the fort. Laundry service prompt and clothes returned undamaged and neatly folded. Owner even helped us have some Henna art and buy some traditional clothing for our camel tour. A genuine hotel with sound people, who care a lot and make your stay worthwhile. Our custom was appreciated. Highly recommend!

Padam, the owner is the warmest most hospitable, attentive, kind and genuine host. We took the 2 night camel trek and had a wonderful time.

We stayed at Wanderlust Hotel in Jaisalmer, and our experience was extremely comfortable and joyful. The staff is incredibly helpful and truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. A special mention to Roshan ji, who was very kind and ensured that all our requests were handled promptly. The food deserves a big appreciation as well—absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared according to our preferred spice levels. Chef Durga ji is exceptional; his cooking is simply superb. The hotel itself is very cozy and gives a warm, homely feeling. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jaisalmer. They also helped us arrange a cab for sightseeing and a desert camp visit. Our driver, Hukam Singh ji, was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. He even guided us through local villages, giving us a wonderful glimpse into local life. They also have a desert camp ( Sonal Desert Camp) if you want to stay in the desert. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Wanderlust Hotel and would happily stay here again.

“Clean and calm stay”

We loved our stay here. Clean and comfortable rooms, and amazing staff. We had breakfast and other meals/snacks and enjoyed them all in the upstairs cafe with a view of the fort. Plus, we booked a sunset desert safari through the hotel which was one of the highlights of our trip. A half day/evening of driving into the desert, riding a camel and eating under the stars. There was one other lovely couple plus our family of four on the trip. Sadly we couldn’t sleep in the desert as we had a flight the next day. I’ve read some of the other safaris are noisy and in rubbish strewn areas, but this was the complete opposite of that.

“An excellent hotel and camel safari”

Padam and his staff looked after us very well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooftop cafe was excellent, the food freshly prepared and delicious. We ended up eating here for the whole of our stay. The camel safari arranged by Padam was an excellent experience. Very well organised with 3 very attentive and friendly guides who made sure we were happy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and their camel safari if you plan a stay in Jaisalmer.
