“Very comfortable and welcoming stay”

We had a brilliant stay at Dera Rawatsar, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and we were welcomed and looked after like friends. The breakfast was great, sooo many options, and the food from the restaurant was very tasty too! The bedrooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed having a swimming pool.

We were looking for a peaceful stay in the mountains, close to nature, so we chose a hotel that seemed to match that. The location is near a power station, but it didn’t bother us. The food was tasty. However, when I asked for coriander with garlic, I was brought something similar to Sichuan sauce. I asked again specifically for just garlic and coriander, but once again they brought Sichuan sauce, this time reheated with garlic. On the third day, after the room was cleaned, my pajamas went missing. We contacted the reception and asked them to check whether they had been taken together with bed sets. We never received a response. We called again and asked once more, and again were told they would check. On the last day, we asked them to pack breakfast for us because we were leaving early the next morning (6 am) . We were promised it would be prepared. However, when we left in the morning, nothing had been packed. Nevertheless, when we were checking out at 6 a.m., they didn’t hesitate to ask us to record a video review of our stay.

This hotel is a peaceful oasis in busy Jaipur with lovely clean pool, beautiful rooms, garden surroundings and overall design. All staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Delicious food from restaurant. I will definitely stay again if I get the chance.

“Top quality heritage hotel and great team”

The property had loads of character and rightly named a heritage hotel. The room was incredible, finished to a high spec. It was close to the railway and metro plus the bus stand nearby. The food was excellent. All supported by fantastic staff who couldn’t do more for you if needed. Nice pool with some shade to sit by in the heat of the day.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and were keen to help customers enjoy their stay. We needed to eat mid afternoon on occasions and were willing to cook anything off their menu. The pool The restaurant.

“Our favourite place in Rajestan”

Fantastic place to stay, and a short tuk tuk to the walled pink city. Our room was spacious, beautiful and clean, the pool refreshing, and the property is wonderfully maintained. Dinner is also fantastic and well priced. You can really tell this is a family run business: from Raja, Shyam, the security guard, waiting staff, and Ram and Sham (the roaming tortoises), service is excellent, personable and genuine. Could not recommend this place more. They also recommended ‘offbeat masters’ for a tour. The evening tour was exceptional and brought Jaipur to life - they do others which look great, but would definitely recommend the evening tour - you’ll visit all the food stalls again :)

“Quiet place in Jaipur”

We liked that the hotel was very quiet. Our room was at the back of the hotel and very calm. Our rooms were spacious, and matching the requests (double Vs twin beds for example). The staff was friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable.

Amazing heritage property, tucked away from the business of Jaipur. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the food in the evening was delicious and freshly cooked. We also booked a room with a driver - I would highly recommend this! It made visiting all areas of the city easy and seamless. A brilliant stay throughout.

This is truly an excellent hotel. The value for money is brilliant and nothing is too much for the staff. It is tucked away, central location. Nice area to sit around swimming pool and outside dining for dinner. Breakfast was excellent with good combination of European and Indian food as buffet style with omelette made fresh to order. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable with good air-conditioning and nice hot showers.

Outstanding heritage hotel and rooms. Can see why it is an award-winning place. A welcoming haven after the hustle and bustle of exploring Jaipur. Great location. The staff, especially the manager, Rajendra, were exceptional. We stayed there to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with our adult children and their partners, and we were looked after so well. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the à la carte menu was outstanding.
