THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT AND THE STAFF WERE WELCOMING AND MADE DIETARY CHANGES AS PER REQUIREMENT. SERVICE OF SANTOSH ( STEWARD) WAS EXCELLENT AND SO TOO WAS OF THE ASST CHEF. SAKSHAM FROM ALILA WAS VERY HELPFUL. ROOM SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.

The staff is exceptional! Right from our personal concierge designated for each guest, Shivendra, was exceptionally courteous and warm. The buggy drivers to the fort from the reception, the spa - Beena and Zalano and the young person from Arunachal, were fabulous as was the food, the cooks and the bearers. It’s an interesting place, the architectural revival of the place quite spectacular. And yes, it comes at a price. The inside of the fully air conditioned warrior fort, hence the lack of balconies, has a minimal aesthetic which is pleasing. It does have too many steps, which may be unavoidable BUT, the ground and first floor should be better lit. The walls need more ropes and rails to hang on to. Wearing the bedroom slippers is an absolute no! The husband slipped in the slippers on the steps wet with rain. It could have been worse. We met another member of staff who had slipped and was in pain. So, better lighting all round, even if it’s mood, and an alacarte menu for the terrace bar would make the stay far more memorable.

“Spectacular”
A friend and I came for 3 nights to celebrate a birthday. Our experience was everything we had hoped for and more. The staff, facilities and setting are superb. There were a couple of issues which the staff addressed promptly and found solutions for.
