“A place I would go back to!”

The guesthouse is in a residential area and so it is quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was so nice to stay there because I got to interact with Raj and Ramanusha who were very hospitable and friendly throughout! They guided me on things to do and where to eat. Their friends too made my stay wonderful. The breakfast is also very good! The Wifi worked well.

The perfect place to visit Jaffna. Would 100% recommend

Very welcoming family, with a large room and super comfortable bed. In a lovely quiet suburb, a short tuk tuk ride from bus/train station, with local handy shops. Use of shared fridge and tea/coffee making facilities was great! We paid extra for breakfast one morning which was delicious 🙂

“Quiet escape from the city”

Nice quiet location and Raj was a great help planning our day trip on the scooters up to Fort Hammenhiel and our train to Anuradhapura. Room was simple and clean with good aircon. Unfortunately a gutter was making noise in the wind but it couldn’t be fixed during our stay. There’s a communal fridge and tea coffee area plus water refills. Can recommend J Hotel for dinner, thought it was going to be overpriced but food was great and good prices. Staff and management were awesome.

It’s very green and has lot of birds chirping. Very peaceful and good location for all the main temples and tourist places. Raj, the host is very kind and helpful. Would 100% recommend the stay if you want to go to Jaffna.

Absolutely affordable and in a quiet part of town. Air con, good shower and bathroom and spacious. Lovely garden! Quirky host, who’ll put together a beautiful brekky if you ask!

What made the stay truly special was how genuinely he enjoyed spending time with guests — always ready for a chat or to share local tips. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed and easy to get around. I really felt at home here. recommended!

Raj, the owner is very good - great advice, chat, breakfasts and star of our pineapple video! A couple of small teething issues he resolved speedily. Great value & location makes this an ideal spot to stay.

It's a lovely place, in a quit location but with an easy reach to the town. Wi-Fi was excellent. Rooms simple but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Raj is a great host always ready to help. Thank you.

Great location in peaceful and beautiful part of town, only 10 mins in a tuk tuk to get to the centre. Delicious breakfast that varies day-to-day, always fresh and traditional. Air con, hot shower, comfortable room and access to a shared fridge. Most of all is the vibe - Raj is such a sound guy, he will go out of his way to help and make sure you have a great stay. Really good reccomendations, and nice to hang out with and hear about his town. It's not a fancy place, it's an honest and down to earth home-away-from home.

Although the facilities and room were basic they provided all that you needed, especially within this price point. The host was very accommodating and full of information.
