“Absolutely wonderful!”
The guesthouse is so close to the beach and is a wonderful old-style house but with comfortable beds and a TV and table in each room. The host was so kind and so fun--two of our group came to explore the Free! anime sites and she picked us up from the station, pointed out all the spots, and played us the OST in the car. The guesthouse itself also had various memorabilia scattered around (though not so much it was overwhelming for those who weren't fans of the show) which was a fun surprise. She also offered us breakfast each day which was a tasty rice ball and miso soup, or a scone, which was much appreciated. Because she only hosts one group at a time, we could all relax and have a good time, and she was very quick to respond to messages too. Thank you, Yokota-san, for the wonderful stay!

Absolutely recommended. Yokota-san was a lovely host, the house was very pretty and the room was big and comfortable. It's a 2 minutes walk to Uradome coast, so a great spot for sightseeing (even though bicicle renting is super recommended to visit around).

“It was perfect for my R&R days in the middle of my three week exploration.”
The location was delightfully peaceful, close to the beach, local shrines and some cliff walks. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean and comfortable, The owner spoke limited English but we still managed conversations and laughs. If you have transport you are ideally located for many local attractions.

“Enjoy stay in Iwami”
Iwami is a lovely town. The house only host one group per day. Super clean and comfortable room. About 5 min walk to the beach.
