“The perfect place to experience real Japanese countryside”
This was my favorite stay during my trip! Surrounded by the countryside, this 280 years old house has all the charms of its age, but still reasonably modern amenities. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And you can get amazing home-cooked meals too! If you want to go out of the beaten path and explore the rural side of Japan, this is absolutely the best place!

The staff were fantastic, very nice people and quite welcoming. I loved the shower although I felt a bit vulnerable with only a curtain, no door. The foyer was warm and welcoming, I enjoyed eating breakfast with other guests and the staff. It was nice chatting with everyone. The breakfast was delicious too.

For lovers of traditional Japanese architecture like me, staying at GAMP HOUSE was a wonderful experience. The building is over 250 years old. And the food was exquisite - give yourself the full treat of the breakfast, lunch and dinner!

It was my son birthday and without asking for anything, the owner organized a firework in the garden and brought a birthday cake! The fireplace is really great and we could have met some local and discuss with then around it.

“Traditional retreat on the countryside”
I really enjoyed my stay here! Tada and his parents are lovely, welcoming hosts. The house is an almost 300 year old farmhouse, but in good condition. Highly recommended to anybody who is looking for some relaxed time outside the big cities.
