Aya and Ben speak English, so the communication was very good :) The place is cozy, fun and the private onsen is amazing!

The accommodation was comfortable and homey, and the hosts Ben and Aya were welcoming and gracious. The hot spring was a nice additional feature too, which provided warm water on cold nights. The cleanliness of the place was well maintained and the interior was well decorated with efficient use of space.

“Relaxing stay”

We loved this stay - the flat is full of character and massive for two people! There’s an onsen in the bathroom which was perfect for winding down at the end of the day and there’s also a foot bath which you can use while looking up at the stars at night! Thanks to Ben and his partner for making this stay so lovely - wish we’d stayed longer!

We loved this traditional japanese house. I'm so glad we were able to stay here. There are different supermarkets and restaurants around. We were able to cook everyday. The beach is less than 5min from the house, same for the train station, super close to the accommodation. The experience of sleeping in the tatami was great and super comfortable. The bathroom is also a hot spring and it is super cool and relaxing. I highly recommend this place.

We had a really nice 4-days stay. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. We got hot spring water outdoor footbath and indoor bath. The kitchen is well-equipped with complete appliances. Our bedroom is comfortable with hot, cold, and dry air conditioner. Overall, the place is neat and clean. We easily went to Mount Omuro, izu shaboten zoo, and lake ippeki as day trip from the place. It is located 2 minutes walk from the Usami train station.
