View from the window and surrounding nature is simply amazing. The location is also good with Granpal park, mount omuro and many prominent attractions less than 10mins driving distance.

“Cozy, quiet, and clean”

The room is spacious, quiet, and clean. The view is very great. You can see the sea directly from the room. The hotel provide various snacks and drinks during my stay. The breakfast is prepared by the host and is delicious and nutritious, especially the bread with butter and the pork.

I have no words for our stay. We’re still thinking about it, so peaceful to wake up with the birds and the people are very kind! One of our best stays in Japan, if not the best. If you stay in Izu, don’t hesitate.

The rooms and facilities were clean and well kept and the owners were really friendly and tried their best to make us feel comfortable and at home. There's a tea and coffee bar throughout the day and snacks to buy if necessary.

We had a very pleasant stay at FUTO HOUSE - Ippon no Enpitsu-. The homestay was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great choice for a relaxing trip. It was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 7, and the overall environment was very family-friendly. One of the highlights was the thoughtful amenities provided. Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and some snacks, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated the cozy space where we could relax, have family chats, and spend quality time together at night. For added convenience, the property also offers a free parking bay, which was very helpful as we were driving. If you get hungry, there are also instant noodles available at the bar for purchase, which is a nice touch for late-night cravings. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend FUTO HOUSE - Ippon no Enpitsu- to families or groups looking for a clean, cozy, and welcoming homestay experience.

“Lovely getaway place next to the sea!”

The room was perfectly clean and exactly like in the picture! Even though the location is a bit hard to reach by public transportation, with a car it was fine. The owner even offered to pick up from the station! He also cooked the breakfast personally and I could enjoy it while looking at the gorgeous view to the sea and mountains. This hotel was the highlight of my trip and I will definitely return for a longer trip later!

Nice quiet neighbourhood. Rooms were nice. Price was reasonable. Very accommodating owners who allowed us to change rooms on the spot as the original room was too small for our group of 4. They also included things like water and snacks, as well as cup noodles etc for those who intend to stay in the accommodation instead of going out, and these were reasonably priced.

Love the tatami floor and spacious room. The room can fit up to 4 futon. The room is clean. However, if u didn't drive to this ryokan, you might face some difficulty in finding food as the nearest kombini easier to reach by car.

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, truly spotless. The bathroom, though somewhat old-fashioned, was also spacious and impeccably clean. There’s no elevator, so it’s best to travel with light luggage. The owner, who runs the place, prepared a delightful breakfast for us, which was a highlight. I had the most comfortable sleep of my trip during the stay. The couple running the minshuku were kind, friendly, and very welcoming, making the experience truly special.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming — staying here felt almost like visiting grandparents in the countryside. Check-in was smooth and convenient, and it was possible to pay by credit card. The rooms were clean with all necessary amenities, and offered a lovely sea view. Breakfast was tasty and served in Western style, with eggs, ham, and toast. The town itself is quiet and peaceful. Within walking distance, there’s a viewpoint with a stunning view of the cliffs and sea, as well as a small but ancient temple. To get around more easily or find restaurants, having a car is recommended since there aren’t many nearby. Overall, it was a relaxing and heartwarming stay.

“Wonderful experience”

Absolutely amazing experience. I should have stayed there for a couple of nights instead of one. Very close to the train station, about 10 min walk up the hill. Not far away from shops and local cafes (~20min walk), and around 20min walk down the hill to the coast. It’s a small town, people are very friendly there, but keep in mind that it’s not touristy so it may be difficult to find a place to eat in the evening.

The personel was incredibly friendly and helped me a lot planning activitys and finding spots to eat. The room was large and very cosy with a nice view of the sea. A little community area with tea and the option to purchase noodles was a nice add on.
