Overview
Itacaré eco-friendly resort sits within the Itacaré Serra Grande Reserve, just 100 metres from São José Beach. Once a cocoa farm, it has an outdoor pool, sauna and gym. Prainha Beach is 10 minutes' walk away. The rooms at the Itacaré Eco Resort have a spacious balcony, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Guests can enjoy a rich breakfast consisting of breads, cakes, cold cuts, cheeses and tapiocas. For lunch and dinner, the Mãe Josepha Restaurant serves local dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. The Itacaré’s outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a tropical garden and palm trees.

“huge potential, not worth the money right now”

The location is stunning—nestled between the ocean and the jungle, with breathtaking views from the room. The pool was decent, and the food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was good, though the options were just okay. The beach is 5min walking from the hotel.

The natural beauty of the place is incredible and the structure of the hotel is very good. The pool is naturally heated by sunlight, as it has shallow parts. The food is good, but you have to pay extra. The beach is kind of exclusive, the resort is inside a condominium.
