“Better than the pictures!”

Amazing! I would return anytime! Better than the pictures! 2 clean, spacious bedrooms, with comfortable beds, closets, 2 balconies and both with beautiful views to the sea and mountains. It was great waking up and seeing the sea from the bed! Very comfortable beds, a spacious living room, with a nice couch and tv, and a nice kitchen with all you need. It is a few minutes walk to the very beautyful beach Voulisma and 15 min by car to the picturesque Agios Nikolaos (also lovely) . On the street there are tavernas and supermarkets. The hosts are very easy to communicate to and very friendly and helpful. Such a great place, loved it!!

“One of the best!”

Thea Apartments turned out to be one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in on Crete. Th fitted kitchen had everything one could possibly need. The two bedrooms each had large fitted wardrobes with good hanging space, plenty of coat hangers, drawers and shelves. The bedside cabinets also had drawers, so no shortage of clothes storage space. Light fittings were very attractive with nice bright bulbs in them. The "hidden" lighting around the bar/hatch was particularly nice. Contrary to the information on Booking.com, the apartment is not detached, but is in a 2/3 storey building alongside other apartments, some residential. If checking on Google Earth please note that it is out-of-date for Istro, as there is now a detached house and nice new large car parking area by the apartments. The wi-fi was excellent. The apartment has both central heating and an open fire so it would be possible to stay there in the winter.

Apartament Thea is so beautiful! We were welcomed in so opened and kind way and our host was waiting for us during night. Instructions about what to see or what to eat were priceless. And in our apartament we had all we need. The view from balcony was amazing, charming beaches were near us and sleeping here was pleasant. One of the best stay!

“Fabulous Apartment”

Spacious nicely decorated apartment, which had been partially renovated recently - making the home very inviting. The apartment was super clean and everything required for our 1 week stay was provided. Lovely large balcony with a view of the water in the distance and very quiet. Note that there is not an AC unit in one of the bedrooms- which was not a problem during our visit since it was not hot during our stay. The host was very hospitable and left us beer, a bottle of white wine, fruit, and cookies as welcoming gifts. Prompt response to all communication. Voulisma Beach was a short walk from the apartment and was so excited that it was a gorgeous beach with nice white sand and clear blue water - loved it! Also, the Drakonaki Georgia Bakery was closeby and had wonderful sweet and savory pastries. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.
