“Amzing Island stay on Caribbean”

This is one of the amazing island stay ,specially if you are looking something as private island on Caribbean. The staff are really nice and helpful.

The island is amazing, the cristal blue water and white sand is like a paradise. The staff in the hostel is reallly nice and welcoming. I had an amazing time there.

It’s basic accommodation but you are on your own secluded island with very few people. As you would expect amenities are basic. Food was excellent. Perfect place to slow down and relax.

Mistica - probably the most cute place in Colombia! We have traveled through the country and never felt as fantastic as we did at Mistica! The atmosphere is so friendly and so safe. It is a paradise where you can forget all your problems! Absolutely magic! We are so happy we found this place! Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful time!

“Paradise”

This hotel is a little paradise. We have a privative beach and the feet on the beach. There is some « savage » animals which is so cute. The host are very friendly and kind. Every night there is a little activity and the atmospher is familial. It’s cool because there are dormitory which are cheap and allow people with small budget to access to this paradise. The breakfast and the food are very tasty. I recommend it !!

The location of Mistica is undeniably beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area that made for a peaceful stay. We especially enjoyed Niña the pet monkey and Coral the raccoon— they brought a lot of charm to the place. A huge thank you to Andreas, who was incredible. Without him, we would’ve been stranded on the island. He coordinated our activities and was the only saving grace of any of the staff that worked there. He arrived on our second day and completely changed the experience for the better.

Unique and peaceful

First of all, the island is AMAZING Staff was really friendly, clean rooms! The hostel felt like a little family as you are all together on a small island. When we arrived the staff asked us our mood to be able to adapt to our wants (karaoke night, chill night, throwing a party…) I would recommend it a 100% *food wise: bring some food like fruits yourself, breakfast was a bit too little… no shops…

Mistica is just a vibe! The island is beautiful, the facilities are amazing and you’ll see a lot of animals! Simply stunning and next time we‘ll stay longer!

I spent a couple of very relaxed days at Mistica on Isla Palma! Its a great place set up on a quiet island. It did not feel super touristic to me and it has great nature. A perfect little get away! My life there was all about beach, a bit of swimming in crystal clear waters, only wearing bikinis, eating freshly caught fish, a bit of dancing & beach volley, some kayaking and watching beautiful sunrises & sunsets! Oh, & cuddles with monkeys, the car and Coral the racoon! They really make you feel a part of their island family, living the island life. I will be back!

“Bad quality accommodation and bad food without fresh water /shower during the day”

There is no water! Only water /shower from 6pm-22pm. No electricity during the day. Upon arrival I felt immediately deceived because they never mentioned this before/during the booking process. Toilet did not flush. Drizzle from the tap / sink is laughable and not enough to even brush your teeth or shave. Ventilator was broken and hung by ropes. Wifi very limited. No towels nor sheets, had to walk to reception twice (10 minutes away) to get it. Staff are friendly but incredibly slow to fix things. Lights on the path to the cabin in the woods were broken, so without a phone or lamp you get lost. Bed is a wobbly small 140*180 with a bad mattress, not suited for two people, and not for people over 175cm. Our cabin was lit brightly through the holes in the wall when the neighbouring cabin put their lights on. The porch had planks and nails sticking out. Door would not open. Food from kitchen is bad, dry, salty. Ask a coffee in the afternoon and they will warm up the old coffee from the morning. If you charge 230 USD per night (!) for a cabin in the woods, it should have way more quality. Other travelers told us similar stories about the other cabins and dorms: All really bad quality. There are much better options in the area.

The staff is kind and will answer any question. The food is tasty. Everything can be paid by card. You can see iguanas, racoons, monkeys and it's generally quite as the island is not part of the daily tours. There are daily activities like sunrise kayaking, water sports, etc.
