Fantastic place would definitely be back.

I liked that the facility is located on a beach surrounded by palms tress and other plants on nice, fine sand. Nice lighting decorations, nice music but extremely loud which is very annoying. I enjoyed the loungers and various seating through out the ground.

- right at the beach - enough (!) sunbeds, shade, umbrellas etc. - also a cute pool! - all staff was super friendl and helpful, shoutout to Miguel in particular - if you‘re in the dorm: AC all day long, two bathrooms and toilets, just a reall good dorm experience

“Paradise”

Beautiful accommodation and one of the nicest hostel dorms I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed in a lot!). Great place to relax and unwind, especially in the mornings. Friendly staff. Generally the place is great value for money.

Great hostel

Just a friendly heads-up: when we checked out, reception asked for an extra fee over £30 for the couple of nights, but they did not mention it when we checked in. We declined and asked the booking team to look into it. Please keep an eye out! Also, we have noticed that all staff members are writing down extra fees and tips by hand on the receipt and asking for them at the end. If you are hoping to swim in the sea, you might find it a bit uncomfortable after about five to seven minutes from the shoot. The water plants are quite thick, and it is the same along the whole beach. You could maybe wade in up to your waist, but it might not be the most enjoyable experience.

“Beautiful to relax - a bit isolated”

Amazing facilities. The places is so big, there s many different areas to chill/eat/sunbathe.. they have a bar and a big restaurant too. Comfy beds. Felt like a peaceful oasis. They do Events if you want to join in too.

This Mayan Monkey hostel is even better than it's sister hostel in Cancun. It's like a luxury resort except you sleep in dormitories (very comfortable) and it's cheap! The layout and location is sublime. The staff are great! The yoga instructor, Lorenza, is awesome! 😍 Tip: opt for "breakfast included" (it's a fraction of the normal price, $12, are you also get coffee and juice)

“Relax and peace”

I loved the hostel and my stay here! The room was spacious, clean, the bathrooms and hot showers in the room were great and a lot (salty water coming out!). Comfy beds, curtains that keep all the light out! Each bed has light, socket. The balcony and the space to hang your wet clothes were amazing like the hanger and the place where to leave your shoes as soon you enter the room. Big lockers to put in even your big bag. You need your lock. There is a lot of space and nature outside, ping pong, Janga, no board games :( Bar is open all day long and a lot of space where to chill and work in the shadow. Massage area right on the beach, little space for push ups, a net to play volleyball, a lot of place to sunbath just in front of the calm, clean and colorful sea! Perfect spot to enjoy the amazing sunset! There is also a clean swimming pool I didn't really use and a restaurant. Common kitchen with a table but also outside there is much more space where to enjoy your meal. A little basket to store your food, put on always your name same for the products you store in the fridge because they clean more times per day and no mercy! They have activities free and not but I didn't have the time to enjoy them! I was there during the Jazz time and it was great, Dj playing with the Sax and it was so nice! The location is right at half island! You have a bus running on both side of the island for 20 pesos otherwise walking to Punta Sur is amazing and not far at all! A little more far to Punta norte. Super easy and quick to cross the island on the other side and enjoy that more rough sea but empty little beaches! 15 min from the town with Super Aki which I found pretty cheap without having to reach the Chedraui! 100 pesos to go to the city by taxi to the center! Free water available in the kitchen to refill your bottle. Reception 24/7, super nice people working here!

People suggested this place while I was in Cancun. It is amazing and it has it is own private beach.

The environment and relax

The accommodation itself was very spacious and quite clean.

Nice room,great breakfast options,beach club and restaurant. You will need to get a cab to the city centre but it costs around £5-£7. The sushi restaurant next door was playing loud music but you will get earplugs for free so even if you go to bed early you should be ok.

Peacefull, right at the beach, clean, the biggest towels I ever saw. I would stay again and again.

The best hostel experience I've had! Direct access to the sea, a cozy and clean room, everything is beautifully decorated and the staff is nice.

“Excellent!”

The hotel design is very stylish. It has direct access to the beach, a nice restaurant and bar. Prices are reasonable. They have a good weekly schedule of activities for the guests staying over. BONUS: They have a great dj for the sunset. Location is also great, just 5-6 minutes drive from Isla Mujeres center. I would highly recommend to solo or group travellers.
