“All in all the hotel felt very overpriced for what you get. But maybe that’s how it is on the whole island.”
private beach with a nice view and crystal clear water. The hotel provided us with a baby bed upon request. It was nice to stay in the south end of Isla mujeres away from the over crowded and hectic playa Norte. It’s walking distance to the gerrafon beach club that has some nice snorkelling areas.

Maria's Kan Kin was fabulous, the location on the beach is fabulous and the room we stayed in was decorated in a lovely way. Lily our host was absolutely fabulous, kind and helpful - she is a gem!

Beautifully decorated, cosy and overlooking the ocean. Beautiful beach and nice for swimming. Loads of fish can be seen in the morning. Lily was exceptionally friendly and nice and very attentive. She is very natural, real and makes you feel very welcomed.

“Nice property and location, but would not recommend it to anyone.”
The owner had just leased the restaurant to a third party. Extremelly loud music was played until 4:00am. None of the guests could sleep, it's a small property with the outdoor restaurant in the midle of it.We all asked them to stop several times, to no avail - they said the had a contract. There is no hotel staff on the site overnigth, we aproached them before they left around 10:00 anticipatimg the issue, but they could not help.The owners need to decide if they run a hotel or a night club, can not be both. We paid a premium to be able to listen to the sea when in bed, but had to close all doors and run the fan and AC in failed attempt to drown the music. We asked for refund, but the owner refused.

Maria's Kan Kin will be a jam once the restaurant is renovated, and breakfast is available there. The staff was super helpful and friendly. It is our hope the restored hotel can keep its tranquil charm with the beautiful tropical flowers.

Location was excellent away from the busy center. Lily was always available for our needs. The hotel and grounds have a real authentic mexico playa feel!

We traveled by a motor bike through the whole Island and I can say we did not find a more beautiful place to stay in Isla Mujeres. A very nice garden and the romantic private beach with a peer are magic! (paddle boards and kayaks included). We liked the room with the king size bed very much - AC, fan, TV, fridge, a big bathroom with hot water in the shower (not usual in MX hotels). the whole area and the rooms are perfectly clean and in the night it is totaly silent there. The hotel manager, Lily, is a profesional who can deal with all your wishes, she is s very nice and friendly person with a lot of experience. We liked the stay very much even when the hotel was under reconstruction which should be finished in Apríl 2022. Until then it could be a bit noisy during the day but after the reconstruction this hotel will be a heaven on earth!

The location of the hotel with the private beach is amazing. Everything was quiet and the view and sunset from the beach was amazing.
