Just 20 minutes’ walk from Ishøj Strand beach park and 15 km from Copenhagen, this hostel offers budget rooms with private bathrooms. It provides a access to a shared guest kitchen and free parking. Patios with picnic tables are found outside Danhostel Ishøj Strand’s rooms. Inside, each room has either a sofa or a dining table. Guests can relax in the shared TV lounge or conservatory. Packed lunches and bicycle rentals are possible on request. A children’s playground, bouncing mats and boules court are located in the large garden. Arken Museum of Modern Art is 15 minutes' walk from Danhostel Ishøj Strand.

“Very nice accommodation”
Activities for children were great. The room was cosy and spacious. We were served an excellent breakfast straight to our table even though the breakfast time had already passed. We liked the lobby also.

The nearby common kitchen was equipped with all we needed. It was just a few steps away from our room. Public transports can be availed easily. A quiet place to enjoy for a couple of days. Ground-floor rooms are very easily accessible.

Very nice location, 2 min from tram/bus stop, which goes to railway station to Copenhagen. Rooms are clean, very big guest kitchen equipped. Nice playground for kids, leisure area with TV, tables, games.

“Complaints regarding my stay at Danhostel”

“Quiet hostel just outside Copenhagen”
The location is very nice (quiet, away from big streets, walking distance from the sea, with a lot of green areas around) and in a walking distance from train station. The accommodation is basic but clean and functional. The self check in (after 3pm) was no problem. The common kitchen (for all guests) is big and well equipped. Train connection to Copenhagen is easy and fast. There are shops and restaurants in walking distance. Great art museum called Ark nearby (with a very good restaurant). Geat if you like jogging by the sea in the morning.

It's a hostel, but a very nice one. Clean, spacious cabins and adequate common spaces. Close to a very nice beach area and at biking distance from Kopenhagen city.
