“Prefect and traditionally French with great owners”
Wonderful quirky little property with a gorgeous traditional old French bistrot attached. Pleasant garden and a well stocked herb garden. The owners, Oliver and Stefan were brilliant. Great sense of humour, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. This is a real hidden gem if you’re travelling too or from the ferry or channel tunnel which is an hour away

upon our arrival on Sunday afternoon the "Restaurant with a few rooms" declared that they could not provide any food on a Sunday evening. The friendly staff declared that there was no food available anywhere in the area. It was mutually agreed between the hotel and us to cancel our reservation. Despite of that Booking.com was charging us the full price as no show.

“Lovely stay with great staff, and a fantastic restaurant.”
Very conveniently placed, next to the railway station and with good parking. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent! Breakfast was also very good. The guys who run the place are delightful, and very helpful and hospitable.

“Comfortable clean Chambre D'hote with quality restaurant.”
You can get a really good quality evening meal here and then just go upstairs to your room. Fine dining at its best. It's a great bonus because you don't have to drive anywhere to eat. Breakfast was great with fresh and locally supplied ingredients - yogurt, orange juice, croissants. Plenty of parking space outside. Room was comfortable and clean with tv and fridge.

“A great find under an hour from the Eurotunnel.”
Very hospitable hosts. Comfortable and exceptionally clean bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. Very competent cooking with very reasonably priced fixed menu, considering the high level of culinary skills displayed. Wonderful presentation too. The breakfast was very sufficient with a lovely selection of breads, fresh juice,, fruit, rice compote and fabulous coffee.

“Friendly staff, excellent dinner and breakfast”
We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning Very convenient parking in front of the hotel Travelled with our dog which was welcome in the restaurant and garden
