“Mould lets it down sadly.”
Staff quite friendly. Very tight access so not good if you have a lot of luggage. No robes as advertised in pictures. The size of the room was good, it all felt clean and very new which was lovely BUT there was quite a bit of mould in the bathroom.

It was very nice to have our own terrace and jacuzzi. It was a little difficult to figure out how to operate the jacuzzi at first, but we managed eventually. The only downside was that a lot of water leaked from the shower, which needs to be fixed. It’s not pleasant to have a big puddle in the room. Also, at night, the window in the shower is completely transparent, so if you don’t mind the possibility of someone from the neighboring building seeing you, then it’s not a problem.

“Our experience was marred by a litany of problems and we advise against staying at C'est La Vie.”
Please read the reviews before booking as our experience was very consistent with the issues outlined by previous guests. We arrived at the room at 3.25PM, the key cards we were issued did not work to open the door. We returned to reception who provided us with fresh keys. We then returned to the room however it was not ready. The beds were unmade and there were toiletries belonging from the previous guest(s) in the bathroom. We returned to reception to inform of what we had encountered and to find out what to do. We were informed that a previous group arrived earlier than planned and preparing their rooms was the priority. We were very disheartened with this response where one set of guests would be treated above another, and for it to be expressed so carelessly. No empathy or apology whatsoever was issued. We finally entered the room at 4.10PM. We were very frustrated at the experience so far, but we carried on hoping for better and hoping it was a minor issue. We must note that room comfort was excellent.

The reception Jayne was super friendly and accommodating to our requests. Clean and nice room, we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the balcony of our room, worth for the upgrades.
