The temperature in the room was extremely low and neither the heating system or the air conditioner didn’t work.

“Comfortable accommodations in a beautiful town: a great place for a quiet stay.”
This hotel has a lot going for it. The location was beautiful - a bit out of the way, so getting there late at night was a challenge, but it was quite picturesque. The rooms were sufficient for our needs. The breakfast - which we had only one time - offered a good selection of items and, given the current economic climate, was relatively reasonably priced (especially if you factor in the cost of the convenience). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and answered our questions with good information. We would definitely stay there again.

“Perfect Stopover with Great Comfort and Cuisine”
We stayed one night at Genusshotel Krone during our long drive home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room was modern, spotlessly clean, and comfortably air-conditioned—exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. Parking was just a minute’s walk away, very convenient. The staff was professional, welcoming, and genuinely sympathetic to the needs of travellers. We also had an excellent dinner in their restaurant; the dishes were well-prepared and full of flavour. All in all, a perfect stopover for anyone passing through the Basel area. Highly recommended.
