“Fantastic”

Our stay was fantastic we had breakfast the first morning at the Farm Shop and it was so welcoming and good. Abercrombie Cabin so well presented and comfortable we would stay again.

“Castle ground accommodation”

We enjoyed the views over the castle home and the surroundings. The shower had excellent pressure and bathroom had a good amount of space.

Beautifully renovated, cosy, lovely luxurious complimentary items (delicious snacks and milk and coffee etc, beautiful hand and body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc). Very thoughtful touches throughout

The lodge is quaint and cosy with thoughtful interior design touches. The guest information is outstanding - the owners have thought of everything. They provide milk, tea/coffee, cooking oil, herbs, salt & pepper etc etc AND lovely snacks and their own jam. We liked that the lodges (and cafe, event space and farm) are family owned. The cafe is gorgeous - lovely design, amazing food and wonderful staff. We particularly enjoyed the honeyberry ice cream.

Lovely location with beautiful views of countryside, close commute to local towns. Farm shop next door was great for food, serving breakfast and lunch with fab variety!

Clean cosy and welcoming. Comfortable bed and nice bed linen. Good kitchen,microwave would have been useful. Welcome snacks. Would love to stay agin and would recommend.

Fantastic. Hospitality basket best l ever had. Good food next door and 15% voucher off. Has everything you need. Lodge was spotless. Bed comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

Loved the property and shop has the best coffee in Scotland. Delightful staff who couldn't do enough to help us with luggage etc. Would have given a 10 but two things broken in our lodge (bathroom skylight and one button on toilet cistern.)

Clean and comfortable apartment in fantastic surroundings. We loved the gifted berries, not to be missed!

“A most wun'erful place to stay with fresh berries t'boot!”

What a treat - the rural locale no more than a stone's throw from supplies, the lovely castle grounds, the beautiful rooms, the comfy, comfy bed. And the the gift basket with snacks and fresh berries from the farm across the road turned out to be a lifesaver, as we had all manner of transport woes getting to the Lodge, and hadn't been able to get a crumb for most of the day 'til then. Also a testament to the beauty of the place is that once we got inside from the tropical-storm outside, a wave of calm and ease came over us. We suddenly didn't mind that the weather had totally scuppered the day. And we got the best sleep we had throughout our holiday. Breakfast is available just next door at the lodge's cafe, and it's scrumptious (and they have more berries for sale if you eat through the gift basket like we did). Only regret is that we stayed just one night.
