The garden house kitchen for simplistic self catering. Power points are ample. Nice view of gardens. Appreciated the complimentary coffee and their sister business.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Hotel Derby. You can truly feel the warmth of a family-run business in every little detail, and it is clear that Jan, Tatjana, and the team put a lot of heart into making their guests feel welcome. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the beautiful garden and the brilliant "garden kitchen." It was the perfect setup that allowed us to have a lovely improvised dinner, just sitting comfortably in the kitchen and peacefully watching the rain fall over the garden. The breakfast was another high point, offering delicious, high-quality options like fresh salmon and an excellent selection of cheeses. A special shoutout to Lory, whose incredibly warm and attentive service during breakfast made us feel right at home every morning. Finally, the location is unbeatable. It is just steps away from the large park, making it so easy to stroll over and watch the paragliders descend. Highly recommended!

Well located in the heart of interlaken. Comfortable and clean with enough space in the rooms but maybe getting ready for an update. Breakfast was tasty with good variety and something for everyone. There aren’t staff on site most of the time but the owner is available by phone and very helpful and friendly. The garden and kitchen nook are a wonderful addition and give a unique and valuable space for guests.

Quite and good location. Friendly staff. Clean room with a small fridge and a capsule coffee machine. Small but good breakfast buffet. Free parking. 24/7 self check in. I can highly recommend this place for budget accommodation!

Property was really good with great storage space for all. Very spacious and beautiful view of Alps from balcony. Such a lovely experience staying. Staff were very friendly, courteous and very helpful.

Great hotel with nice garden setup. Self check in was quick. Shed outdoors was nice. Room was nice and clean. Free Car park was right beside the unit.

The pillows were not good, very soft and provided no support.

Our room was more of a flat than a room: 2 separate rooms with double bed, wardrobe and sofa beds. Kettle and coffee machine. Extra throws and a beautiful little balcony. Perfect! Breakfast was pretty basic but good.
