We were really impressed by the personal and friendly welcome of the owners. During our stay we learnt about the history of the renovation. The farm and room is cozy and made us feel at home. And we had a delicious breakfast with home or farm made local products.

This is a gem of a place to stay! Jerome and Jordan bought this old manor house as a virtual ruin and are transforming it into a stunning wedding venue with onsite accommodation. They have succeeded in restoring the beautiful features of the old house, combining it with modern comforts and the rooms are fashionably decorated. The rooms are light and airy and ours had a kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities (but bring your own tea and coffee!) plus a hob and sink unit. There were deckchairs, chairs and tables outside in the garden that we used. You could also request to have a BBQ put up for your use. The hosts' friendly dogs are happy to meet everyone and there are hens and cows in the surrounding fields. We had one of the most delicious breakfasts of our trip here which included several varieties of home-made jam, home-made yoghurt, baguette, croissants, crepes and home-made cake. We were also offered eggs. The fresh apple-pear juice made a lovely change to the usual orange that you get in many places. The coffee was excellent and, in accordance with British tastes, my parents-in-law were able to have lots of fresh milk with their pot of tea. Jerome and Jordan are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to make our stay a great success. We hope to return there.
