Our visit to Ine Fishing Village this spring was absolutely amazing, and our stay at Cafe & BB guri exceeded our expectations - both food, service and facilities. The views of the calm and green water and the wooden boathouses were stunning! This is one of the most beautiful villages I have ever seen.

“MAGICAL”

Ine is a peaceful and relaxing place, magical during the day, and mystical during the night. But Guri and its owner Sama are the pearl. She is kind and helpful, and her breakfast is delicious. The Cafe (open just two days a week) is at the ground floor. We stay in the only room upstairs. The design, every detail, the big big bed, the bath, the wooden furnitures and walls and ceiling… everything there is fantastic. I’m in love with this place.

Everything was perfect, the room was spacious with a lot of functionality. The staff is very welcoming and will be able to help you if you need anything. The breakfast is delicious.

Very cosy design with great details. Spacious enough for 4 to share. Host is friendly and prepares delicious breakfast. Very near to bus stop and tourist information.

“Lovely stay, I wish we stayed longer”

It was a very spacious, clean and well maintained area. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put into the space to make it feel just like home. It was my 60th birthday and Chaiki-san was so warm and welcoming, she even gave me a couple of baked goods to celebrate my special day.

The host is very friendly. She made the reservation for us to a wonderful restaurant located close.

The location of course is excellent, but aside from that, the interior is so well designed and feels so peaceful. The cafe downstairs is also very cool. The owners did an incredible job with this place. It is my favourite accommodation I've ever stayed in.

“Perfect stay in Ine, best coffee and breakfast!”

The stay is very cute! The owner was so friendly and helpful. She made a dinner reservation for us and it turned out to be the best dinner ever. She makes the best coffee in Ine too! The breakfast she prepared was lovely and she even made fresh waffles. The room was super clean and there was a choice of gibli movies to watch. Perfect stay in Ine!

The owners of Guri are a very friendly architect and chef couple who decided to leave the big city to lead a more satisfying life with their young family in this charming boathouse village. We felt very much at home, downstairs is a small cozy cafe and upstairs just one room. A lot of attention to details shows deep commitment to hospitality. The breakfast not only looked very healthy, it was tasty and generous, topped by homemade blue berry and strawberry jam!

The room design is modern and very well equipped with facilities. There is a projector with a good selection of Blue Ray movies. It can also be connected to own devices to project on the screen. The room is extremely clean and very comfortable to sleep in. The host Toma is also very hospitable. The Japanese breakfast is home-cooked style and delicious.

Friendly and helpful owner, lots of advices with clear instructions. Comfortable big rooms with everything you need and more. Convenient location, 1 min walk to visitor centre. Great audio system and projector, fit for movies. Great breakfast with great coffee.
