Staying at this hotel in the gorge was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, palm gardens, and beautiful nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. What made our stay truly special was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. They welcomed us like family and were always ready to help with a smile. The traditional food was delicious, and the atmosphere felt authentic and calm. Waking up to the views of the gorge and hearing the sound of the river was magical. If you are looking for a real Moroccan mountain experience with warm people and stunning scenery, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Not my first time staying here due to its great location, standards and friendly staff.

Possibility to get a good dinner and breakfast. There was an electrical heater in the room, and also a heater and fireplace in the dining room. The surroundings are visually appealing.

The place is located in a beautiful valley. Idriss and his brother's hospitality was very welcoming. The dinner and breakfast was so delicious. This place is a refreshing oasis nestled among the mountains.

Very beautiful place with friendly stuffs ,the best meals until now ,the view to the gorge is stunning. Lovley people very helpful and professional in their work ,. they can give you all the informations you need about small or long hike even they do big tours or days around the erea to see non touristic places which is beautiful. Enjoying the fire in dining room which is warm and romantic . Room has beautiful decorations all you need in shower from towel until shampoo. You feel home and nothing is missing I highly recommend . 💯

An incredible hotel/riad placed in a gorge. I travel a lot around the world and can compare it to another places, even in Morocco, where I lived in more than 10 different hotels. I've also traveled all over Morocco, all the way to Dakhla in the Sahara, and this place deserves a solid 10. It's beautiful, spotlessly clean, but above all, sometimes it's about the people, not the place. The hotel is hosted by Idriss, without whom this place wouldn't be the same. I rarely leave reviews, but in this case, I felt it was my duty. Idriss is someone who is proud of the place where he lives, and will do everything to ensure that his guests have a perfect experience in every way. I arrived late about 1:00 at night, and Idriss came just for me to check-in and it was long after check-in hours. Thank you, Idriss, for your hospitality. I'll be back soon. Inshallah!

“Delightful individual hotel well located in the gorges.”

Delightful small hotel excellently located immediately after the narrowest part of the gorges. We are on a touring holiday and decided we had gone far enough for the day, so found this on booking.com. Lovely traditional style (so nice after the usual modern hotels we had stayed in), helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were great and I recommend a guided walk with Idriss. Very interesting and informative. The staff also entertained us at dinner time with music and riddles! The room was quite basic, with a hard bed and a cold floor (no rugs!?!). We were happy with our stay, and it was a fair price, but the description on Booking.com makes it sound more luxurious than the reality.

“Magical stay in the Gorge du Dades”

The hotel is located in a magical location right in the heart of the mountain with a spectacular view. The place is very cozy and ideal for a quiet yet adventurous stay. We did a 3-hour hike with our local guide Idriss who took us to see some caves of the Berber nomads, explained local fauna and flora, as well as explained many curiosities about the place and its peoples. After we came back he cuddled us with some of the best authentic food we tasted during our entire trip around Morocco, consumed in a lovely dining area with a fireplace! We surely want to come back to this place for a proper longer holiday, one night left us craving for more!!
