“Convenient place to stay for cyclists”

Very easy stay for cyclists doing the Shimanami Kaido; very easy to find along the blue line route. Staff were excellent at explaining everything (in English too), the dinner was tasty, and facilities were clean and easy to navigate. Bicycle storage was also secure and simple to use.

We ordered the hamburger and fried horse mackerel for dinner (which came with a little appetizer dish and salad) and it was phenomenal. My wife loved the hamburger dish and I would say the mackerel was in the top 3 best fish dishes I’ve ever had. I also absolutely loved the limoncello spirits they served too. Really hit the spot after a 70 km bike ride around the islands.

Great to stop here on Shimanami cycle. We made a dinner reservation too and the food was excellent.

“Comfortable and modern hostel perfect for cyclists”

Great location for those cycling the Shiminami Kaido. The pod-style rooms were comfortable and quite private, and shared toilet and shower facilities were very clean and modern. There was also a secure garage - locked overnight - to store your bike.

Loved this place - so comfy and cosy and friendly and an excellent way to spend a night on the Shimanami Kaido - and a delicious dinner!! Arrived drenched from the rain - welcomed with a smile and a towel - so lovely- thank you 🙂

“Excellent staff excellent meal and an excellent hostel for a restful sleep”

Exceptional hard working friendly helpful staff. The place runs like a well oiled machine and the evening meal was superb- they had no problem accommodating that I didn’t eat meat. Very well organised in both the amenity’s provided and their location to the facilities. I wasn’t familiar with digital check-in but they were happy to talk me through (some of the staff speak English). It has good security measures.

Stayed in a double bunk room that was very spacious with high ceilings. Very clean and modern facilities. Super convenient and setup for the shimanami bike ride around half way. Convenience store across the road. Let us drop bags at the cafe in the morning so we could ride unburdened. Welcoming chef and front of house staff at the cafe made our stay even better.

Location. Theres a family mart right across the street. And its very near the tatara bridge. If doing the shimanami kaido, perfect midway hostel point

We needed somewhere to stay while cycling the Shimanami Kaido and this one seemed to be in an ideal location, close to the blue line. The property was highly organised, very clean and well appointed were well provided for.

Great facilities for cyclists - there is a secure garage outside to lock up your bike and our room included bike racks. Very comfortable beds, great showers, pyjamas and towels provided. Everything was spotlessly clean. We booked the 6 course dinner which came out very quickly and was delicious.

Fantastic location and amenities for cyclists. Would highly recommend to order dinner had a delicious and affordable 5 course dinner! Dormitory beds were incredibly spacious and large, facilities and amenities were fantastic. Even pyjamas were included!

Location for biking. Vertical clean,. Unusual "pod" concept with communal facilities like a hostel but actually more private.

Clean facilities. Was quiet when I visited but I think it would be overwhelming if it was full with guests.

Very close to biking trail and onsen at the dome. Excellent dinner.
