“Great stay, beautiful home, amazing hosts. 10/10 would recommend.”
We would have loved to stay longer in this beautiful, spacious accommodation. The hosts were so sweet and super friendly. After they showed us around, we sat down for some tea and walked for over an hour about Japan, The Netherlands and so much more. It was great meeting them and we would definitely recommend this place!

A very beautiful traditional Japanese house with a lovely garden and a private garage. The house is clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The night sky was stunning. The hosts were warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

the accommodation is run by a very friendly older couple and is actually their beautiful and spacious family home. the garden is lovely and you have a very wonderful view from the room. the couple was incredibly accommodating and kind - they even helped us find a restaurant, and called ahead to check the menu for us (sadly no restaurant was open!) The room was comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

The hosts are very lovely. They have bbq facility on site (1500 yen fee) which I highly recommend! It’s nice to have outdoor bbq. However, keep in mind that you will need to bring your own ingredients. To access this accomodation you will require a car as it is a bit far from the downtown.

Exceptional hospitality. Original traditional Japanese experience. Great equipped kitchen. Very spacious and wonderful sleeping situation: futons on tatami. Very quiet. (You'll need 25' by car to 'downtown' Iida.)

“The real japanese experience”
The host Michiyo was the absolute sweetest and kindest lady. She brought my kids to her garden to pick fresh veges and was so warm. The place was beautiful, and made the experience immersive.
