Located just 200 meters from the Loire River in Melay, Fenêtre sur Loire offers B&B accommodation in a farm that produces its own fruits and vegetables. The property have some animals and you can have donkey ride along the Loire River. Accessed by a private entrance, the rooms include a seating area and an en suite bathroom with a shower. One features a private terrace and the other opens directly onto a flowered garden. A breakfast is provided each morning at Fenêtre sur Loire and includes French pastries and organic, homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the organic cuisine prepared with the farm’s homegrown produce. Additional features include the option to rent canoes for the Loire River, mountain biking trails, free Wi-Fi access throughout and free private parking on site. Roanne is only a 30-minute drive away and Semur-en-Brionnais is 16 km from the property. Marcigny is 15 km away. Please note that two electrically assisted bicycles can be rented on site. We provide GPX traces of loop circuits from our accommodation to visit the tourist sites of the area.

location is great and the rooms are big. good clean facilities. the table d’hotes dinner was amazing! the hosts are extremely friendly. would go again! perfect for a couple of nights stay or layover while en route

“Cozy rural local atmosphere”
We only spent one night, but the place was wonderful for a rest on the journey. Quiet, cozy, with a good breakfast and a local atmosphere. The area is quiet, you can go for a walk. Comfortable rooms, with a large bathroom. Friendly owners, beautifully served breakfast.

“Peaceful, tranquil, but all mod cons.A real little gem”
Location very remote , but brilliantly situated, heart of the country side, animals were an added bonus. Breakfast very nice, homemade jams croissants and French bead.Booked a lunch time meal and took the friend we were visiting, exceeded all ideas , lovely, home, fresh cooked . Excellent. Feeding the donkeys daily was a good experience and hosts were so lovely, friendly, helpful. Have already recommended it to a friend who will be travelling later this year . Comfortable and warm room, good shower and teas and coffees provided

“We only booked 1 night but would definitely recommend longer to anyone thinking of staying there.”
Our hosts were excellent and our stay at Fenetre sur Loire was very enjoyable albeit sadly for only one night as we were making our way back towards the UK. We booked an evening meal which was delicious and can thoroughly recommend anyone staying, to book their evening meals there as well.

“Would go back again”
Excellent dinner booked the day before. Breakfast good. Very peaceful. You must try the home made beer its superb, took 6 bottles home with me. Great place to stay for a couple of nights. Celine and her husband Sandy were great hosts nothing was too much trouble.
