“Depressing ambient and poor facilities”
The hotel is opposite the bus station and at the end of the hig street with all the bars and little shops and restaurants. Excellent location for the marina, the library and a 20 minutes walk from the nearest beach. Unfortunately the benefits end there: over a five days stay I have had to make my own bed three times and my room was never hoovered. The building is old and a tad dated, there's a funny smell of chlorine and stuffy ambient and I think the place needs some kind of room mist or reed diffusers.. The room doors don't seal properly when closed and as it's often windy they rattle all night and that plus the noise from outside makes it impossible to sleep unless you are deaf or drunk. As the occupancy grew more and more guests started to leave doors open and socialise in the corridors, complete with kids screaming and running up and down until the early evening hours and as the Reception is downstairs I think the Staff is oblivious to it .. I asked in advance for some plant based milk and margarine for breakfast but the Hotel didn't bother to accommodate it, funnily enough I have found several hair in my bed and a chewing gum stuck in the shower. The Owners seem really nice and friendly but that doesn't make them good hosts I am afraid. I wouldn't stay again, I am really disappointed

“Comfortable Comfort Inn”
The location was perfect for both bus station and Ferry terminal, ideal when using public transport. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, decent selection. Loved the coffee availability in the reception area. Staff were very nice and accommodating.
