“Wonderful stay”

Fully equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable. 2 cute dogs to play with everyday! Additional small room to hang coats and place shoes.

Amazing place with everything you could need. The location is beatiful with some doggy company and close to many iconic places of Iceland.

Amma Jóna cottage is tiny, cosy, and very cute. It has a sunny patio, and a bbq was also available for use. Everything was immaculately clean, all instructions clear. Scenic hiking trails, restaurants, and horse farms are all within walking distance. The two dogs mentioned in the listing love to play, but aren't pushy at all, more on the shy side. Would definitely love to come back and stay more than one night at the cottage.

It was a cozy cabin located in a quiet neighborhood. The accommodation was warm and comfortable, and we were welcomed by two sweet and incredibly nice Border Collies. The bedding was very soft and warm, and the facilities were excellent. At night, the aurora was clearly visible.

This accommodation was just the perfect start to our holiday (our first night). Was super cosy for my partner, Daughter and i. Easy self check in, Parking right in-front of the accommodation and great location between attractions! Thank you for having us (and we loved waking up to the dogs on our porch)

The most beautiful accommodation we had during our Iceland roundtrip! This cottage has everything you need and more, including a beautiful view! The interior is beautiful and makes you feel at home. Everything is very comfortable. The hosts are extremely kind and they have two very playful dogs, which made our short stay even better :) We would recommend everyone to stay here and we will surely come here again!

Our stay here was among the very best of the whole trip. A small cottage for us. No noise of neighbours. Beside the montains. Just 15 minutes from Skogafoss. A small and wonderful little church nearby. 2 great dogs (from owner) my son could play with. We loved it so much !!

“Beautiful, cosy chalet in a rural setting, with friendly owners.”

Beautiful setting in a rural farming location. A lovely, self-contained chalet with all you need for a short stay - although I wanted to stay longer! Friendly hosts, who leave you to it - and their very friendly dogs cheered me after a long day's driving. Comfortable beds and cosy lighting, with a private outdoor seating area that was very welcome. Good information ahead of time to access the lock box.

perfect location, easy to find. Clean cottage house. host are friendly and dogs are lovely. My daughter love dogs so much. Soft bed and warm water for chilly windy icelandic weather.

“The best tiny house we visited (twice) during our trip along the west and south coast.”

A lovely modern cottage or tiny house on surrounded by super friendly sheep farmer families. We felt at home immediately and were lucky to have booked the same location travelling back and forth the south coast. Very close to Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and Solheimasandur plane wreck. Arrive early and have a walk in the beautifull lush and desolate canyons right past the house. Ideal for couple or family with one or two kids. We'd now recommend to book few days in a row to roam the area.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed, as well as being spotless. The location was ideal and very peaceful.

First of all, I would like to thank Jana and Einar! They were very friendly, kind and helpful hosts! We stayed for 1 night! The location of the cottage was perfect with free parking! The cottage was brand new, very beautiful and warm! I definitely recommend this cottage for your stay!

Cute, cozy, modern, well equipped small cottage with so warm and welcoming hosts.

room size is too small for 4 persons. no place to put luggage. The kitchen is very basic, we only can cook instant noodle

Cozy small house. The check in was fast and the family that hosted is very friendly. Cllose is hiking trail to small canyon, that is very nice!

Cosy cottage, there are hiking paths and a nice church close to the cottage. It is well equipped, Jana is welcoming and happy to help and provide travel information.
