“Perfect cosy home-from-home”

The apartment was nice and spacious and super-comfortable. Felt like a proper home-from home. There's a fridge, hob, oven and microwave, so you can cook or warm up supplies from the supermarket instead of spending a fortune eating out. Also a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Plus a few capsules, tea bags and other basic store cupboard items to get started with. You can park directly outside, no worries about that. Perfectly located for walking to everything in the town (it's right next to the geothermal park). Easy to find when you arrive. Owners are lovely and live in the house next door. I don't know how often this is the case, but one night we only had to step outside the front door to see the northern lights!

“Fantastic”

Really enjoyed our stay here! The room was nicely spec'd. Check-in was easy. The bed was super comfortable, the room had nice underfloor heating, and the shower and bathroom were lovely. Short walk into town - we went to a local brewery/pizza restaurant for dinner and loved it!

It was incrwdibly clean and well kept. The hosts are lovely too! My personal favourite was the hot tub, but the overall stay was definitely a 10/10! :)

“Hidden gem of a location, unforgettable experience!”

This was a gem of a place, it was so lovely and well looked after. The owners are wonderful and live next door. There is a spa, common room, kitchen and gaming space for all guests to use underneath the rooms. The guest rooms are very modern, clean and confortable. The location was close to the Mega Zip line and Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River and park. It was the most exceptional experience staying there on my Iceland trip and I would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. There is a shopping centre only about 15-20 minute walk from the accommodation, which contains the tectonic places of Europe and North America, plus a wonderful local park with waterfalls and an earthquake simulation experience. Staying here, I was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights (as you can drive a small distance to get to a dark national park), making it the cherry on top for the whole experience. Hidden gem of a location.

Very comfortable bed and spacious apartment

Without a doubt the best accommodation we've had in Iceland! Friendly personal check-in, spacious and quiet bedroom, cozy hot tub, parking, big common kitchen and a common room with billiard table, darts and other games, all basic hygiene products.... There are shops and a supermarket in the same village and it is the perfect location to hike to the hot river as well.
