We really loved the personal touch of staying at the home of an Icelander with a lot of life experience, and really felt at home from the moment we set foot in Sigga's home, until we departed.

Sigga was such a nice, kind, helpful and overally great hostest and she makes terrific breakfast. Her home is beutiful and so cozy. We had a really nice stay and we prommised to come back to Iceland again. And when we do that, we will stay with Sigga again, because it's definitely worth it.

Sigga made a great effort to source gluten free food for one of us and provided a great variety of foods at breakfast. Sigga gave us the gluten free food, that remained after breakfast, to take with us.The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. There was a TV in the room and ample towels and other supplies. The room and bathroom were well heated. The bathroom was large and had excellent supplies of whatever you might need. Sigga was very hospitable and friendly. She told us about the area and was knowledgeable about Icelandic history.

Very nice host. We shared a bathroom with the host, that was no problem at all. Very good breakfast in the morning at the time we liked. Nice walking distance to town and Reykadalur.

Very nice host we could talk to. She let us use the kitchen to cook dinner. The bed was comfortable. Amazing and rich breakfast was waiting for us in the morning.

Sigga is a very friendly and nice host and she had very helpful advice on what to do in the area. The room is quiet, clean, cosy and comfortable with a nice private patio outside. Breakfast is home made and delicious! We will surely go back another time when again in Iceland and we strongly recommend !

this place is really special because of sigga herself. she made our trip special, she is a person with a lot of wisdom and full of life. we were really happy to met her, we were coming from a two days trip of full of rain and we were so sad and Siggas cheared us up a lot and told us everything about Iceland and also about a really nice hike. thank you so much sigga 😊and maybe we see each other in Germany again

Sigga is a very friendly icelandic lady, who offers a lovely bedroom and big bathroom in her roomy house/home. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and typically icelandic. Also she kindly offers to use her kitchen and washing machine. We enjoyed talking to her about the region and she gave us great advice about places to visit. We are looking forward to visiting again!
