An excellent base for exploring the south coast of Iceland and Golden Circle. A home away from home, it had everything we needed. We even managed to spot the Northern Lights from the hot tub! Communication and check-in was excellent and straightforward. Highly recommend!

“Cozy stay with amazing Northern Lights view”

The holiday home was very cozy, clean, and fully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, which was very convenient for our stay. The location is great — only about 10 minutes drive to the supermarket. Check-in was very smooth using a key lockbox, and towels were provided, which was a plus. The house was warm and comfortable even with the cold weather outside. The best part of our stay was seeing the Northern Lights right above the house without needing to go anywhere. With the temperature around -10°C and strong wind, being able to enjoy the aurora from the accommodation was truly an unforgettable experience. There is also a hot tub available, but we were too tired after traveling to use it. Hopefully we can try it next time.

This was our fourth time staying in these excellent log cabins, they are so authentic, incredibly warm, and well equipped for self catering. The hot tub is also amazing and very private. Good location for seeing the northern lights, if you enjoy doing Iceland independently then this is the place to stay, just hire a car, it's about an hours drive from the airport. We had a problem with the door lock being stiff, I messaged the owners and he actioned it straight away.

Great calm place in the nature and close to the ring road. The hotpool was excellent and a lifesafer after a rainy and cold day.

The location was beautiful, the place was clean, and most of the essentials for our stay were included. We brought our own toiletries, towels, and dishwasher supplies since there was no mention of them being provided — but they were actually available. It was a lovely family stay overall.

Owner was really nice and helpful. Location was perfect. House was clean, with all what’s needed (coffee, towels, full equipped kitchen…) with quite and absolutely great views.

The living space is spacious for a family. To be with nature was very good. The radio is a nice touch.

Great apartment and loved we were away from other cabins. God all the amenities you need. Brilliant to look out for the Northern lights on a night and the beds were super comfy.

Everything, accommodation was brilliant, hot tub perfect, surroundings stunning nestles in against the mountains.

These holiday homes are at the perfect location, to explore the famous golden circle, and the south of Iceland. Lying in the hottub and stargazing (possibly even with northern lights) is an experience you won't get enough of. It was warm, and cosy, and had everything we needed to cook meals, and hot tea.

This was a laidback somewhat older vibe in the furnishings cottage among a series of similar cabins. The location was centralized and rather easy to get to the main highway from. It easily accommodated out group and the bunk beds are very comfortable even if they look a tad small. The natural hot tub is a crazy addition that once we got it to work we enjoyed some sulfury hottness.

Fantastic location, easy to access sights and things to do in the Golden Circle. Great restaurants in the area. Our hosts were accommodating and very helpful when we needed to adjust our booking. The hot tub was fantastic and we really enjoyed using it. Spacious living area with a great deck. Cabins were well spaced apart for ultimate privacy.
