“Very picturesque and beautiful place”

The House is located in the most beautiful place in the world. Clean and comfortable, the owner is a very nice and helpful man. His recomendation as regards of places to visit was perfect. We will come back here for longer stay.

Breakfast was not included, but the apartment has everything you need to prepare both dinner and breakfast. Please note that the house is situated off the main road and there are no shops nearby, so you will need to take care of the food in advance.

“far from the noise a cosy place”

it is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but we liked it. be prepared to have food with you or having dinner somewhere before going to this hidden spot. once we arrived the host was very kind and we have been the only guests there on that night. there is plenty of space in the kicthen but if you prefer using the living room upstrairs that is an excellent option as well.

Not much around and great to see norther lights. The host was nice, there was a big kitchen and we had a comfortable bed .

We really loved the location - the middle of nowhere, the surrounding was breathtaking, lovely it felt a little bit like visiting grandma. It was very cute and comfortable accomandation, we enjoyed panoramic view from the window (it looked like paiting). Good equiped kitchen, there was also coffee and nice living room with sofa and balcony. We felt very nostalgic about DVD player and many options of the movies and series. The bathroom was also very clean and nice designed. The beds were very comfortable. Its relaxing, queit place near attraction Hvitsekur.

Located on a working farm, Oskar is very friendly and helpful. The house is undergoing improvements, those that are finished are well executed. Bedrooms, bathroom and longe was very comfortable. Delightful surprise encounter with two young arctic foxes playing together in the field around the house in the morning.

What a place! We were greeted by Oskar and his dog and given the grand tour which far exceeded our expectations. Oskar had clearly poured his heart and soul into the place and it showed. It had a very homely feel. The bedroom was comfortable with proper blinds that kept the light out. The bathroom was immaculate and well finished, there was even a lounge room upstairs for guests to chill in. The kitchen was well equipped and well labelled. Oskar gave us great tips on nearby attractions which we would otherwise have missed. He was easily the best host on our 15 day tour of Iceland! The greatest highlight of this guesthouse was obviously the arctic foxes that came out to play in the evening. We spent hours in the field photographing them, they came right up to us.
