“Brief and sweet stay”
My stay was very brief, only one night. The room was spacious enough, clean and very well equipped. The guesthouse has very clear rules on noise and I do appreciate that. Sadly, due to a persistent headache, I did not sleep so well and could hear the other guests walking during the night.

“👍🏻👍🏻enjoyable stay”
Lovely decor, in town, safe, warm, and kind hostess! Only a microwave,fridge and kettle for food prep. If you’re in the ground floor room you have to go upstairs for the bathroom, water/tap and you’ll have to be okay with the noise from other guests coming and going through the front door/up the stairs. It was a gorgeous room with a tall ceiling and creek view. We were comfortable.

“Lovely guesthouse”
Very cute guesthouse. It was great to have big mugs in the room for tea rather than just small coffee cups. Bed was very comfortable and house was surprisingly quiet eve though it is shared bathrooms

“Wonderful”
Our stay was wonderful. We were warmly and kindly welcomed by the host. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well organized, as was the shared bathroom on our floor. We found the accommodation beautiful overall, with historic details and touches unique to the city that made it even more charming. After many hours on the road, we had a peaceful and restorative stay. The location was perfect for us, with parking available both on the property and nearby. We also really appreciated the freshly made coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

“Great and comfy room well located”
The guesthouse is perfectly situated in the city center nearby the best fish restaurant in town and nearby the harbour. The room is perfectly clean as well as commun bathroom with hot water from the hot springs (like everywhere in the country). I slept well and will recommend this place

“A Lovely and Cozy Stop After an Exhausting Travel Day”
After 6 days of driving around Iceland and a very long, exhausting day on the road, arriving here felt like such a relief. We were so happy that we chose this place — everything is lovely, cozy, and welcoming. It was the perfect stop to rest after such an intense journey, and we truly felt we made the right choice. Highly recommended for anyone traveling around Iceland.

Absolutely fantastic stay over winter time - for small work days. Place is warm, cosy, comfortable and that time very affordable. What I loved “small free” breakfast was offered. Coffee tea juice fruits and instant oats too. Made my morning..

“Cosy stay and a friendly hostess”
Charming, cosy house owned by a kind hostess who shared many recommendations for Iceland with us. The rooms were warm and felt like home. We would love to stay here again.
