Omar the taxi driver from the hotel was waiting to transport me. He was on time and as a female solo traveller, I felt safe. I loved the trip to the beach on the tuk-tuk, and the. each bar there. Food was varied and very nice. Thank you for a lovely time

Very good value for money. The hotel staff were very friendly and not only asked for feed back for improvements, but acted on them almost immediately. The free transfers to the beach were such fun and very regular. A great variety of food with different dishes every day.

It's a 20 min walk to the beach or you can take a free shuttle from the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of the desert so there's no where to walk outside the hotel unless you buy a tour. But if you're looking for relaxing and no shopping then this is the place. The hotel has a bit of wear and tear but nothing alarming. The pool area and beach are nice and clean. The food included in the all-inclusive-package is acceptable considering the price. I would say it's value for money but don't expect anything exceptional.

Excellent facilities. Staff is incredibly friendly and meals and bar facilities is excellent with a wide variety to cater for every one ❤️I liked the shuttle service with very friendly drivers who played amazing music and taught us a few Arabic phrases. The beach is impeccable and the property is immaculately clean and well tended their gardens

The walk to the beach every day. The beach facilities excellent. Just little thing repetitive music every day for 6days.

“Make sure to attent the Oriental Night”

I was given the same room as one year ago, and things slightly improved, but this old and tired resort has a long way to go to match competitors such as the Wadi Lahmy Resort much further south. Food is a hit and miss, but the Oriental Evening the hotel had organised was splendid - any efforts they make goes quiet a stretch. It seems the cost is due to Makadi being regarded as a posh location but most guests would probably come because of the convenience.

Very Nice People who works in hotel, they are all very kind ..., clean rooms, good food, Nice pool, good transfer to the beach, drivers are always in the good mood, the beach was really great. All inclusive servis really mean that it is all inclusive all day (drinks, exepct icecream you must pay afitionaly) Also on the beach you can get drinks, pizzas, burgers, coffee, alkohol Drinks ... You get big towels for the beach. Bottles with drinking water are available all days and you get daily 1,5 L bottle in the room, too. Aircondition in the room works great. There is Also a cattle to prepare Tea or coffee in the room, hair dryer and refrigetator. Rooms have small balkony, too.

Beautiful architecture, and room decor, tranquil- caters for lower middle-class tourists, and showing its age. Reception is a huge disappointment.

The food is amazing 👏, food is served all the day long ,the breakfast is repeated however lunch, dinner and snacks were excellent The hotel is super clean The garden and landscape are magnificent especially that we are in the spring and the flowers are blooming everywhere The bio garden is excellent and the gardners are super friendly Shuttle bus to the beach was punctual The diving center staff were very helpful and the prices for all trips and activities were very reasonable The hotel manager is like a bee he is floating all over the place to make sure that everything is OK

The buffet style breakfasts were fantastic with a choice of just about anything you can think of and lots of vegetarian options too. We ate lunch down at the beach most days from the little snack van and the pizzas were above and beyond what you'd expect. Dinner however was a little less consistent, especially for veggies like myself. The buffet on the Oriental night was absolutely fantastic and we would all have been happy to eat that every day, but we appreciate that it may not have been everyone's choice. The rooms were lovely and freshly decorated with comfortable beds, clean towels daily and plenty of storage. The grounds were full of beautiful bushes and plants which were being attended to constantly, in fact the whole place was very well cared for. Lemon and Soul is by far and away the best all inclusive hotel we've stayed in for the reason that it didn't have the sometimes sterile impersonal feel to it that others can do. It felt more like a guest house which is more the type of accommodation we would go for out of choice.

Great hotel, have stayed before, sad to see it so empty. Hotel staff were amazing, reception, restaurant, bar, cleaners, pool staff, really great. Food was good, room was good, Gala dinner on New Years eve was done really well, the fact it was 3 hotels together, well done to all the staff ❤
