We received a very warm welcome from our hosts even though we were late checking in. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!

Although I only stayed one night, I enjoyed it so much. The entrance to the room was at the back with a view into the woods. So peaceful! The room had everything I needed and you could grab a hot beverage in the hallway if you liked. The breakfast was homemade and so delicious! And Astrid and Peter were so friendly. I enjoyed my chat at the breakfast with them so much. I can only recommend coming here! Ten minutes to Huntsville and about 45 minutes to Algonquin Provincial Park was perfect for me.

This place is wonderful. The hosts Peter and Astrid were most hospitable. The accomodations were above expectations. The breakfast was most delicious and took into account our dietary restrictions.

I have a slight allergy to artificial fragrances and the plug in fragrance/room freshener at entrance was not necessary and I found it hard to breathe just as we entered hallway. Thankful was not in the actual bedroom.

The location is just gorgeous, if you are looking for peace in the middle of woods and still few minutes drive from the village, you found the right spot! The room was very comfortable, I loved the attention to the detail. And of course unbeatable home made breakfast.

The breakfast and wonderful hospitality were very much appreciated.

Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by the host and shown to our room. Everything was meticulously clean, and there were directions on using certain things at certain times. We were asked what time we would like breakfast, and it was delicious.
