Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and picturesque views of the Isefjord from this small, cosy hotel, which is found on the outskirts of Hundested. Lynæs Hotel offers simple but efficient accommodation. The guest rooms are comfortable and neatly presented in a traditional style, and the private bathrooms have a shower. Some rooms have pretty views of the fjord. Relax and socialise with others on the hotel terrace. Visit the Hundested home of the famous polar explorer, Knud Rasmussen, which now houses a museum. One of the largest megalithic dolmens in Denmark is found at Grønnesse Woo, close to Hundested.

We were made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly owners who clearly care deeply about the comfort of their guests. The breakfast was exceptional and plentiful; a great example of what the Danes do best. Not only is the location beautiful with stunning views over the water – as an added bonus, we enjoyed the considerable collection of paintings by renowned Danish artist (and father of the current owner) Arne Haugen Sørensen – along with key Danish design pieces in the dining room.

“Great place, great value, great breakfast”
The hotel has a great location, if you want to explore Hundested and the area. The hotel is very charming and some of the rooms have a great view. We've felt very welcome and the breaktfast was very tasty.

“Charming and comfortable place to stay near Hundested.”
This was a perfect place to stay for a night on our way through Hundested, a small port town close to the hotel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with plenty of space for two people and a nice bathroom with an enclosed shower. Breakfast, served in a bright and airy room, included locally made organic yogurt, fruit, bread, cheeses, and eggs with bacon & vegetables. The chance to see several paintings by Danish artist Arne Haugen Sorensen on display was an added bonus. We look forward to coming back again the next time we are in Denmark.
