“Comfortable and great staff”

Nice and comfortable. Breakfast was standard - we either had pancakes or eggs and bread. The staff were super helpful and managed to find us transport to the start of our Huayhuash hike when other travel agencies had been unable to. The hostel was clean and perfectly located.

The staff are amazing here, really good. The beds have multiple blankets and are very warm. The breakfast is good 👍

Ground floor rooms are noisy being close to the kitchen and dining area. Carpets in bedroom are very old and warn. Communal/dining area has an external facing multifold door that is very old and does not close properly. Door often gets left open creating an uncomfortable draft. There is a place to sit, but they did not allow early check-in even though most keys were on there hooks and no guests came to and fro in the hours after our long overnight bus ride to Huaraz.

Lovely hosts, very accommodating. The rooms are spacious with a tv. Breakfast was made every morning which was a great start to the day.

This was low expectactation stay, turned out high value for the money. Place has true backpacker spirit, because for backpacker all you need is roof, shower and available kitchen. Internet and loundry service is available.

“Stay here, great hostel amazing staff”

Honestly one of the best hostels we have stayed in! Staff are so friendly and helpful, room was really comfortable and great shower, always hot water! Stored our bags when we went on a trek! Location is great, close enough to the town whilst still being quiet! Beautiful views!

“A great place for a few days”

The shower is warm, the location is pretty decent and they get up early to make you breakfast which is a nice touch.

“Very comfortable hostel”

Really nice hostel in a central location. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms are comfortable with a TV that has Netflix. The hostel also helped organise our Santa Cruz trek and day trip to Laguna Churup. They kept hold of our bags whilst we did the Santa Cruz trek too. Highly recommend this hostel as it's excellent value for money

“Scam - don't book”

Rooms in itself were clean and spacious with hot water available. We also appreciated the luggage storage on our last day.

Nice place with clean room, comfortable bed and hot shower. It was easy to book tours through them and they also made breakfast for us at 4.30am.

The owner provided exceptional service throughout our stay, truly going above and beyond. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and made every guest feel like a priority. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the owner even cooked breakfast for us before our early morning hike and sent us off with a flask of coca tea— such a thoughtful touch. The hostel also organizes hikes with convenient pick-up right from the door, making everything easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

“Great place, great staff”

Great hostel. Lovely comfortable place to relax after trekking! The staff are so nice. Thank you so much for all the help. The owner, his daughter and their colleague were a great help at booking treks and making the breakfast in the morning. They also helped us when we had altitude sickness by making me and my girlfriend coca tea 😁☕ The room was very nice too and comfortable bed with a TV. The location is good too as it is only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre.

“Good place to stay”

We had a good stay here. Staff is really friendly and they can help you picking some tours. If you book with them, they make you breakfast really really early which I found super sweet of them. The room is fine, not anything special and a little outdated. Shower was okay but also not too great.

Family run hostal with private rooms in a nice location in Huaraz. I was also able to book the tours from the hostal. The breakfast was also good.

The hostel was very helpful in arranging tours. If you book through them they even get up early to make you breakfast. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. It’s a little bit out of the centre of town but it was very manageable

Bed is comfortable, shower very hot with good pressure. Breakfast is very good and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location. TV with Netflix. Highly recommended

Richard and his family were very helpful in every way we needed. They offered us trips which were wonderful and for great prices. Once they prepared a breakfast and a thermos full of coca maté at 4:30 for us to be ready to go for a trip early in the morning. After our check out we left our luggage in a lobby room and got back for it at 19:30 after our last trip.

“Great stay for a private room”

Price was excellent for the private room, staff were friendly, breakfast was basic but included, and the location was great. They let me extend until 8pm for 50% of the room price.

The staff were very hospitable and kind.

“Good place with just decent amenities”

I loved the staff! Richard was exceptionally amazing.. Breakfast is decent! You might get everyday a new brekkie related to eggs though! Loved the garden which is outside the hostel! The terrace is not done yet, however we enjoyed chilling on the terrace during the day time when we skipped our tours!
