When we arrived, Angelo was there to greet us. He was very helpful, agreed to most of our requests, and made sure we were comfortable and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay and the chocolates on the bed are a nice touch!

Incredible room with awesome sights. We stayed in the big apartment. It was well equipped and furnished. Brilliant breakfast and atmosphere.

I was an amazing experience to stay at this hotel. Both the exterior and interior of the cottage like building made our stay special. Also it was perfectly located to enjoy wonderful highland scenery and northern lights.

Had a lovely night stay at Hotel Hrifunes. Its well located for travelling along the south coast and splitting up time between Vik and Skaftafell. There are no staff on site, but we had no problems with the check-in instructions etc. The room was lovely and very comfortable and we were lucky enough to have an aurora - which is the perfect location to see one, away from major light pollution. Breakfast was basic but adequate (boiled eggs, toast, cheese, muesli, yogurt etc).

It was a great spot. Amazing views and such a warm home feeling. We were lucky to have the main house section to ourselves, might have been different if the other room had been occupied.

We arrived at night - it's very dark as it's off a gravel road with no lights. The sign for the place actually says "Guesthouse Hrifrunes", which was a little confusing. We had one of the rooms in the main bit of the house (by the dining area). It was a bit difficult to find as there's no-one there to check you in, but we found it eventually. Room was pretty basic (pretty much just beds and a chest of drawers!) but fine for our needs. Breakfast was great and the views (when you had them) were amazing!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Aurora apartment with astonishing view. It was so cosy and relaxing so we enjoyed every moment. Apartment was also very spacitous and nicely designed.

Easy to check in with code. Good breakfast offering. The proprietor provided lots of information before check in. Clean and comfortable.

It was all fantastic. The room was very cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It is possible to check in late and there is parking. Breakfast was very good and with the possibility of a good view. We will come back if we ever have another opportunity :)
